2 weeks later"Santana can you get Rowens bottle out of the microwave please?" Quinn asked from the living room. Santana nodded and grabbed the bottle. Making sure to place a couple drops of the formula on her forearm to make sure it wasn't too hot. Quinn gave her a confused, but pleased look.
"When did you learn to do that?" Quinn asked, taking the fresh bottle out of Santana's hands and placing it in the 1 month olds mouth. The brunette smirked and sat down next to the lovely pair on the couch.
"I have an older brother. He had his first baby about 2 years ago so I guess I picked up a few tricks." She shrugged nonchalantly. Quinn's eyes immediately perked.
"I never knew you had a brother?" The brunette nodded with a smile.
"Yeah, well he lives back in Ohio so we don't really talk much anymore." There was a distant look in the latinas eyes. Quinn noticed. She could tell this was a sensitive topic so she left it at that. Instead she asked the tan girl a different question.
"Where is Brittany? I thought she would be back by now." The blonde removed the now empty bottle from the newborns mouth and placed it on the coffee table. In a carful motion, lifting the baby on to her shoulder to burp.
"I'm not sure. She said it was a surprise?" Santana shrugged. Brittany didn't tell her much either. The only thing she knew is that she had to keep Quinn occupied. Which wasn't a difficult task because there's a perfectly healthy baby to do that for her. Quinn gave her a hesitant look before shaking it off.
"Well she needs to get home it's almost-" the blonde paused to check the time. "5:00. And that's when Row usually gets laid down. And we both know how Brittany gets when she can't have some time with Rowen before bed." The tanner girl smiled and nodded. It warmed her heart at how well Brittany handles the baby. Santana has always loved kids. She's just never found the right person that really made her want them. That was, until she met Brittany. That thought scared her. Not the fact about maybe starting a family with the blonde, but that maybe she didn't want the same. Santana had never felt this way about anyone and she was scared that maybe her thoughts were moving at a faster pace then they should've. It was hard to stop them though when every time she so much as heard the dancers name, a four letter word echoed in the back of her mind.
Santana's eyes shot up out of her thoughts when she heard the front door open, in walking her favorite blue eyed babe.
(Brittany's POV)
I had left around 3:30, making my way to Jakes apartment. Aka Noah's little brother. Quinn has been at home for a month straight, taking care of her little blonde. Pre-me babies always need a little extra attention though so I get it. But the girl still needed a break! It was up to me to make it happen. She deserved it.
I walked up the steps right to the apartment that Noah had gave me the number to. I knocked 3 times, almost immediately Puck had opened the door.
"Hey B." He greeted with a smile. I grinned back at the boy. He stood aside so I could walk into the apartment. It was pretty small. And if I was right it only had one bedroom. Which would mean one of the 2 boys had to sleep on the couch. Surprisingly though, the apartment wasn't super messy like you would think, it was actually really well put together. I shook all my thoughts away when I remembered what I was here for. Now that I realized why I was here, I noticed he was already dressed up. He sported a light grey long sleeved dress shirt with the top 4 buttons undone, revealing the top of his chest. The sleeves were rolled up a bit and he had on nice black pants along with black dress shoes. He looked handsome. He topped it all off with an elegant silver chain that draped around his neck.
