Author's note: This is an alternate history where East Asia dominates the world, this is not supposed to offend anyone in any matter and I am terribly sorry if I do. Also dont ask why I dont mention India alot, they are supposed to be in the background constantly fighting each other.

January 24, 1350: Europe is being ravaged by the Bubonic Plague that recently spread to Europe from the north-western part of Asia. The newly formed Ming dynasty who overthrew the Yuan Dynasty several years early due to urgent events, are having a meeting with all the High Ranked officials in the Capital city of Nanjing as they quarrel on how to deal with the Plague which could spread to China if they don't act fast. After what feels like five hours of arguing, the Emperor tells them to settle down and made a very drastic decision which would ultimately split our universe with the Universe of Europe of the East. "We will close the Silk Road to Europeans and the west permanently and focus all trade East". The entire room was silent in shock as they have been trading with the west for a long time and several businesses thrived through the Silk Road. After a bit of silence, they agreed because they didn't want the virus to get to China. That year, Ming soldiers arrived at the silk road and started to destroy roads and paths and started to build walls around the region. Several merchants from both sides were forced to turn back and head home. All trade were starting to head East. Due to this, Europe will not be able to trade with Asia and will not recover its population until the Asians come back.
Meanwhile, east of Ming in the pacific, several countries are starting to expand in their region. Hosokawa has recently captured Akamatsu, Tondo has conquered Pangasinan, Majahapit invaded Sunda capturing Jakarta, Malacca expanded north into Ligor and Dai Viet has conquered Champa. All still unaware of the plague ravaging Europe.
