Where We'll Meet Again

According To Plan

[Y/N] woke up feeling tired. Someone knocked on her door. "[Y/N] it's Minami. Ukyo's is looking for you", Minami indicated. [Y/N] stood up, "What? Ukyo?" She thought as she raised an eyebrow. "I'll be there", [Y/N] sighed as she brushed her hair to the side.

When she got out of the hut, [Y/N] felt intimidated, "Why are you looking for me?" [Y/N] asked as she stretched her arms. "I just thought of inviting you to go check on Gen", Ukyo smiled. [Y/N] stared at him. She sighed, "Okay", [Y/N] agreed.

As they went over to the village, [Y/N] felt tired walking, "In broad day light must I walk?" she thought sighing. "You guys are not being too careful", Hyoga whispered in [Y/N]'s right ear. [Y/N] stepped aside, "Mind your borders", she clicked her tongue. "Mm? Heading to the village?" Hyoga hummed, "I do suggest you guys watch him from afar."

"I'm pretty sure we know that", [Y/N] sighed.

Hyoga went along with [Y/N] and Ukyo on their way to the village to check on Gen.

"The thought of the petrification is still on my mind", [Y/N] thought. "Ukyo, Hyoga... Have you ever thought of how the petrification began?" [Y/N] asked. Ukyo and Hyoga glanced at [Y/N], "Hm... I haven't thought much about it", Hyoga replied. "Mm... Humanity mostly lost track of the time, but I heard this guy named Senku had been counting since his petrification. That's when 3,700 years caught out attention after getting revived", Ukyo indicated.

"Who was the one who figured what year it is today?", [Y/N] asked.

"Senku", Ukyo replied.

[Y/N] wondered, "Senku?", she thought.

"You know Senku don't you?" Hyoga asked.

[Y/N] stared at Hyoga before answering, "Yes."

Ukyo glanced at [Y/N], "On old friend of hers."

[Y/N] as speechless yet her face was unfazed. She slowly glanced at Ukyo who seemed to know something of her.

"Ukyo-san. I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell him that. Whether it's the truth, you have no obligation to speak on my behalf, and everything about my life", [Y/N] stared.

Ukyo smirked at [Y/N] who just clicked her tongue, "Yes, an old friend. Though I don't want to get involve with him anymore", she sighed. Ukyo raised his eyebrows.

They continued their walk towards the village.

As they got near, [Y/N] stopped, "I'll be around here. I don't want to go near", [Y/N] sighed. Hyoga and Ukyo stared at [Y/N]. "Do you plan to get lost in the forest?" Ukyo asked.

"Getting lost is not a problem. If you two find me in time", [Y/N] turned around and walked away.

"Ukyo and Hyoga must've been revived long before me."

"I'm guessing Tsukasa tried to kill Senku before. When he asked Gen to find out if Senku is still alive, that points it all..." [Y/N] walked through the forest.

She stopped at a river, "Whenever I see a river, it always reminded me of my mom playing a piece called 'River Flows In You', a piece by Yiruma", [Y/N] sat down and leaned against a tree and once again stared at the glistering water flow.

"This is called River Flows in You. It's a very famous masterpiece! Here let me play it for you, [Y/N]"

"My mother introduced that piece to me. She said it was her favorite", [Y/N] thought as she chuckled. She then sighed and kept glancing at the river.

[Y/N] walked outside the school building. As she was walking along the sidewalk her phone rang and it was a called from her mother.

"Yes?" [Y/N] answered.

"I'm sorry, [Y/N]"

"Mother? Why are you apologizing?"

"I won't be able to see that precious smile of yours anymore"

"Mom? What's wrong?", [Y/N] was getting worried.

Her mother's voice stopped. It was other people's voices on the other side of the phone. "What's going on? Where's mother?" [Y/N] thought as she was breathing heavily.

"Hello?" Someone picked [Y/N]'s phone. [Y/N] hesitated in answering the call, "Where's my mom? What happened to her?"

"I'm really sorry. Your mother-"

[Y/N] then couldn't hear anything other than what the person said on the other side. Echoing through her ears and head. Her vision blurring like a fog. She dropped her phone and fell onto the ground, unconscious.

[Y/N] woke up, "I fell asleep?" she muttered as she felt tears dripping down her cheeks. She sighed, "Mother..."

[Y/N] felt someone's presence behind her. "Who's there?" she thought as she stood up and glanced. "Seems like you're awake", Ukyo chuckled. [Y/N] furrowed her eyebrows, "Is sneaking up behind the only thing you're good at?" [Y/N] asked.

"I'll consider that as a compliment" Ukyo smiled. [Y/N] clicked her tongue, "Avoiding the question, huh?" she thought.

"Where's Hyoga?" [Y/N] asked.

"Here", Hyoga whispered in [Y/N]'s left ear. [Y/N] stepped back, "Please mind the borders", [Y/N] sighed.

"She's quite on edge right now because she was crying", Ukyo chuckled.

"Hm? She cried?", Hyoga tilted his head to the side.

"You guys are only annoying me. I'm heading out first", [Y/N] sighed as she turned around and walked away.

"Wait", Ukyo began to follow [Y/N], and so does Hyoga.

[Y/N] sighed, "Don't talk to me", she muttered.

"Is it because you're crying?" Hyoga asked with a surely proud smile beneath his mask.

On the next day Gen came back to the quarters and met [Y/N].

"Hello, [Y/N]~" he smiled.

[Y/N] stared at him before sighing.

"Why are you sighing? Aren't you glad I'm back?" Gen pouted.

"You're exactly the same with those two guys", [Y/N] replied.

"Two guys? Eh?" Gen tilted his head.

[Y/N] walked away and went to Tsukasa, "Will you tell him the truth that Senku's alive?" she thought as she glanced at Gen who's following her to Tsukasa.

"Senku is dead", Gen smiled.

[Y/N] and Tsukasa stared at each other before looking back at Gen, "Did you dispose the body?" [Y/N] asked. Gen was shocked to hear [Y/N] not caring for his friend. "Dear [Y/N], you're an interesting girl aren't you?" Gen asked.

"There's nothing interesting about my question? It's basically common sense that you'd dispose of it", [Y/N] replied.

Gen grinned and chuckled, "He's alive alright. Senku's alive."

[Y/N] smirked as Gen told the truth.

Things are going according to either Gen's plan... Or [Y/N]'s plan...
