Chapter 13

💛Y/n pov

- " No sir. Be sure to give him the worst punishment." Jungkook said aggressively making his mother's eyes wide in shock.

- But she didn't say anything and looked down at her lap. The single tear escaping her eyes caught my attention.

- " Mom... Aren't you going to say something? Ask him to save me. It was just a mistake I didn't do it on purpose." Jae started to plead to
Mrs. Jeon but she didn't budge or say anything.

- " Lock him in the cell." The officer ordered.

-  " Mom... Why are you doing this? I am your son you should be on my side. Mom... Save me. I don't wanna go..." Jae kept yelling as now the fear of being left out was visible in his eyes.

- He thought that his mom will always be on his side but it came as a shock to him when she didn't say anything. Like hs world shattered. Well, she was herself to much surprised to even react to his whines.

- Jungkook held his mother's hand and directed her to come outside the room. She had become totally numb. All the waves hit her really hard.

- I was happy that finally the one who committed the crime will be punished but the sadness on Jungkook's face didn't hide from my eyes. After all Jae was his brother and I can understand how hard it can be for him.

- Soon, we all left the building and were at the parking area. I was about to turn away to go with Taehyung when Jungkook stopped me by tugging my arm.

- " I will go home with mom since she doesn't seem in a good condition." He said caressing my hair sweetly.

- " Yeah... Take care." I told him and he showed me his bunny smile.

- " Love ya..." He gave me a kiss on cheek and left my flustered state standing in the middle of parking area.

- I sat in Taehyung's car and he started to drove off towards his house.
" So you confessed to Jungkook?" He asked breaking the silence.

- " Yeahh..."

- " Thats good." He said and again the atmosphere was silent.

- " Are you alright? You look lost." He asked concerned.

- " Yes and no. Yes because finally the one who killed my husband is found and no because its Jungkook's brother. He looked really sad when video was shown." His disappointed face flashed in front of my eyes.

- " Its okay. He was his brother after all. Just give him his space for some time he will come to you when he is alright." His words gave me a ray of hope.

💛Some days later

- I had just woken up from my sleep due to Taemin. After feeding him he feel asleep again. So I decided to clean the house as I hadn't done it in a long time.

- But first I needed some coffee to refresh myself. I put the radio on and started to work.

- After some time I heard cries so I immediately ran upstairs. Opening the door I saw Taemin crying as he had just woke up from his sleep.

- I took him in my arms and went towards bathroom to shower and make him ready. After some time I was done and so I brought him downstairs.

- After parting that day Jungkook didn't call me at all nor a single text. I was getting worried and wanted to contact him but at the same time I wanted to give him space.

- As I put Taemin in the crib I heard someone knocking on the door. I went and opened the door to a person with the cutest bunny smile ever.

- " Y/n..." He immediately held me in a tight hug taking me by surprise. After some seconds I wrapped my arms tightly around his body feeling the warmth.
