Sweet and Spicy| Elijah Mikaelson [1]

Chapter 5

"My siblings and I are the first vampires in all of history, the Originals. 300 years ago, we helped build New Orleans. Now, we have returned to find the city has a new king, who rules with the aid of a powerful girl. They've taken possession of my brother, Elijah. A coven of witches want this girl for themselves; they seek to enlist my help, using my unborn child as leverage, though I suspect they have ulterior motives. So, I've made a plan of my own: I will free my brother, and reclaim the city for my family. Then, I will be king." Klaus says in a voiceover.

When I told Lissa that my baby is a girl. She started smiling and hugged me. Lissa and I go way back. Lissa and I met when I was 16. My parents recently kicked me out then and my sister just died. She took me in like a sister. Lissa and I just have this bond that even Hayley doesn't understand.
      I was on the couch eating some grapes and reading a pregnancy book.
    "I told you Agnes, I feel great!" I said looking over to her. I was flipping through my book still.
     "You are overdue for a checkup." She said. I looked over to Hayley who was sitting near Rebekah who was on her laptop.
    "What am I gonna do? Pop into the Quarter for a quick ultrasound? A pregnant werewolf-Banshee escorted by a witch—nothing to see here!" I yelled while my arms were basically dangling in the air.
    "A lot of women would kill to have a child. It strikes me as odd that you're not taking better care of yours." I could tell that Rebekah wanted a family. I could tell she wanted a husband and a child.
     " I know a doctor out in the bayou. Off the beaten path. Now, I took the liberty of making an appointment for you. Tonight, after-hours, just us. Vampires will never get word of it." Hayley came over to me and sat right next me.
    "I'm coming. Lissa will be coming as well." Hayley practically started begging me, I mean she begged. She went on her knees in front of my legs and put her hand in a praying hands position.
  "Okay, fine. Bayou-baby-doctor it is." I told Agnes. She grabbed her keys and I got up along with Hayley and Lissa. I grabbed my Jacket on the sofa. I walked out the door.

  "This is the doctor's office?" I asked Agnes while in the car. I was in the front seat while Hayley and Lissa was in the back seat.
     "Dr. Paige is only this far out because Marcel's men kept terrorizing her patients. Go! She won't bite." Agnes urged me. I nervously exited the car with Hayley and Lissa holding my hands and smiling at me in reassurances that nothing is going to happen and I am going to be fine.
    We entered the office. Dr. Paige instructed me to lay on the table. I got up on the table while she took the wand and prepped it. She pulled my top up revealing my baby bump. She grabbed the wand with jelly coated on it and started rubbing the wand on my belly.
     "Good news, your baby's heart rate is perfect." I smiled at Hayley and she returned the smile. I am so glad that my baby's is healthy. I felt tears prick my eyes.
   "I knew it. She's a tough one, like her mom and aunts." She hands me a tissue which I gratefully take from her and I wiped off my belly and pull down my top.
      "That's a unique birthmark." Dr. Paige says looking at my birthmark.
     "We're pretty much done here, right?" I ask Dr. Paige and Hayley and Lissa go into the waiting room to wait for me.
    I get a text which is from Rebekah
"Where are you?"
   "Your blood pressure is a bit high, I've got something for it." Dr. Paige told me and I grab my phone and text her back
     "Bayou clinic with doctor"
Suddenly, a wolf howls loudly, startling me. I get up to look out the window and see a car's headlights approaching, which makes me pretty suspicious and anxious. Dr. Paige returns with her medication.
     "Ahh, you know, I'm-I'm actually not that good with pills." I backed away from Dr. Paige. I was anxious and scared.
    Dr. Paige sets the medicine cup on the table and starts preparing something. A group of intimidating-looking men walk into the clinic and whisper something unintelligible to Agnes. I turned around to see Dr. Paige preparing a syringe, and the doctor lunges at me to inject me with it. I grab her arm and pushed it away from me,  headbutts the doctor to disorient her, and then I stabbed the syringe into the doctor's neck. When the men in the lobby see what happened, they run toward the door, but I managed to shut and lock it before they can enter. One of the men rattles the doorknob as I started to struggle to open the window to escape. When they finally get in, I already escaped and then I began to run away.
   The men who raided the clinic are still looking for me, and then they pass me, not seeing that I am hiding behind a tree. I runs up to them and kicks the first man I encountered in the gut and knocks him to the ground. I jumped and kicked the second man down as well, and I snapped his neck. A third man tries to attack me, but I grabbed a knife from his hands and I
cutted his neck with it as I spinned in the air. When a fourth attacks me, I grabbed his shotgun, and I knocked him to the ground, and I could've possibly killed him as I kicked him and beat him in the head with the butt of the shotgun. I crouched on the ground, and my eyes flashed werewolf-gold as I looked for any more threats. A large, burly man descends upon me, but before I can react, his neck is snapped from behind by Rebekah, who has just arrived
     "Have to say, I'm impressed" She said to me and I flashed her a grin. 
     "How did you find me?" I asked her, I was still panting after my battle with the men. 
   " Your text got me halfway, vamping here did the rest. Who are they?" She asks me. She looked at all the bodies on the ground of the men I killed or not.
   "Witches, warlocks, whatever." I told while gestured to the dead men on the ground.
    I saw that Rebekah noticed more men with flashlights in the distance
    "There're more of them. Run!" She told me waving her arm while getting into fighting mode.
     I reluctantly heeds Rebekah's warning.
    "If I had a dollar for every mess my family has got me into.." Rebekah mutters to herself.
    Rebekah is shot in the heart with two arrows, which temporarily neutralize her and she falls to the ground. I looked towards the ground and saw Rebekah
     "Rebekah" I screamed scared.
I soon got shot in the shoulder with an arrow, which seems to be coated in something that caused me to pass out and fall to the ground as well

Rebekah awakens from passing out after being shot in the heart with an arrow. She pulls out the arrows with a groan, and sits up to find five or more bodies, all dead and bloodied
   "What the hell!? Eliana! ELIANA!"
Rebekah is walking around, looking for clues as to where Eliana could be. She sees the doctor passed out on the floor next to the used syringe. Suddenly, Klaus appears
    "Wow! You abandoned your quest for power to help out your family! Having an off day?" Rebekah turned to Klaus and smiled at him teasingly.
        "Who took her Rebekah?" Klaus said to Rebekah calmly.
     "I don't know" Is the only thing that Rebekah could muster out.
      "What do you mean, you don't know? And who killed her attackers?" Klaus stated to Rebekah who was feeling pretty shitty that she couldn't save Eliana.
   " I don't know! I had an arrow in my heart. If it wasn't Eliana who killed them, then–"
She is cut off by wolves howling in the distance. Klaus looks at her and raises his eyebrows
     "Lovely. Maybe her cousins will know where she is." Rebekah sarcastically said.

I woke up with a arrow in my shoulder and I grabbed the arrow and squeezed it and pulled it out, I hissed in pain.
     I stood up, my clothes are tattered and my clothes were also bloodied.
      I started to walk in a daze like state until I saw the familiar red bayou clinic. I saw Klaus, Rebekah and Hayley who had Lissa on her arm. Klaus turned around and saw me and ran towards me.
     "Eliana! What happened? Tell me what happened." He asks me and then start examine me.
    "I can't remember." Everything after the ultrasound was a big blur.
       "You've completely healed. There's not a scratch on you." Klaus pointed out looking over my body.
      "One of the perks of being a half werewolf, remember?" I say to Klaus thinking that what he is saying is not necessary.
   "No, not that fast." Klaus tells us.
Rebekah runs over to me and wraps her arm around me protectively
     "Leave her alone! It's the baby. The vampire blood, Klaus' vampire blood, in your system, it can heal any wound." Rebekah tells us. My hands touch my stomach. My own child healed me. I smiled brightly thinking of how good my child is already being to me.
   "Your own child healed you." Rebekah tells everyone and Hayley suddenly bursts through Rebekah and gave me a bone crushing hug.
    "I'm glad that my niece healed you. I don't know what I would do with myself if you got hurt." I took her hand in mine and squeezed it and I hugged her in response.
   "Don't you worry your pretty head Hayley, I'm fine." I tell her. I glanced over at Klaus who was smiling. I don't know why but I wasn't going to question it.
      "How did you escape? Outnumbered, unarmed? Those men were ripped to shreds!" I tried to think going through all of my blurry memories of the night. I suddenly remembered they're was a wolf who protected me.
    "I think it was the wolf. I think it's trying to protect me." I say quietly. Klaus pointed a finger at me angrily.
     "The witches were supposed to protect you! When I get my hands on Sophie Deveraux–" Klaus says angrily.
    "It wasn't Sophie–" Rebekah cuts in. "It was Agnes." I told Klaus. He didn't care what we had to say like normal.
    "Fine! Agnes, Sophie, it's all the same to me! I'll slaughter the lot of them!" Klaus says and I get scared for a moment.
    "Not if Elijah gets there first." My ears perked at this and my stomach started getting nervous at the thought of Elijah coming home soon. 
       "Elijah? Did you find him?" I ask Rebekah, I was eagar to know.
     He's been in touch, and he has a plan. All he asks is that we take care of you" Rebekah tells me while putting a affectionate hand on my shoulder.
    " Hey, so... can we go home now? I'd really like to sleep for a few days." I ask them.
I stood up, and Klaus nods with a smile. When I went to walk, I stumbled and started to fall, but Klaus zooms over to catched me and picks me up.
    "Ooh, I've got you, love. I've got you." I smiled and leaned into his shoulder more while we all walked towards Klaus car.
    When we got home, Klaus tucks me in bed and turns of my lights and closed the door. I leaned into my pillow and drifted off into a well deserved rest.
