Three Months Later
I closed my eyes and drifted off not but five minutes and then I was being awaken by a hand holding mine. It was warm and familiar and as I opened my eyes I saw John sitting down next to my bed.
"Hey." I spoke, he hadn't noticed I was awake yet.
He looked at me and smiled. "Hey babe." We hadn't even become official and he was calling me babe. I leaned towards him and gave him a long sweet kiss. When I pulled away he pulled me back in for another kiss. "God I've waited too long to be able to kiss you like this." He wrapped his hand around my neck, firmly, and deepened the kiss.
Finally I pulled away though, "John. I just, I'm in a hospital it's not really appropriate." Excuses, excuses, I thought to myself.
He sat in silence for a second, "Oh I came in here because I convinced Mrs. Harpso to let us go on a date tonight. I know it's already sort of late but she's letting us go out. I don't really have much planned because you have a small appetite so it's not really the best date but I figured you might enjoy getting out." He looked at me nervously.
I stared in surprise, "You convinced her to let me go out tonight?" I squealed and kissed him again. He was so amazing. "When do we leave?"
"As soon as your ready." He smiled and stood to leave so I could get ready.
I stood from my bed and started unhooking things. Clara ran in as my beeper started sounding but she'd just received the news that I was going out so instead she flicked it off and helped me get ready. She put me in skinny jeans and my converse with a plain yellow shirt. John was standing there waiting for me. I smiled at him and took his hand in mine. Then we silently walked out to his car.
We arrived at his house thirty minutes later, his nearest neighbor was five acres down. I had only been inside a few times. He took my hand and took me around the side of the house to the backyard. Laid out was a huge blanket and a cooler on top of his trampoline. He helped me up and then we walked over to the blanket.
"So since it's been three months I decided it was time to celebrate our relationship." He pulled the cooler over and pulled out two wine glasses and some champaign. He handed me one and poured the fizzy drink into both of our glasses. "You may not be twenty-one but..." he didn't finish his sentence.
I lay back on the blanket and looked up a the sky, it was fairly warm for the beginning of December. I had to tell him soon. We didn't have a lot of time left together. This cold was chilling me to the bone so I cuddled close to John. We'd had an amazing three months together.
"John we need to talk." He heard the worry in my voice and turned to look at me. But when I saw his face I could only kiss him. This happened every time I wanted to tell him.
He pushed me away, "What is it Tess? What do you need to tell me?" He held me by my shoulders.
"It can wait." I smiled and looked into his beautiful eyes, "I'm cold though." He smiled back and rolled towards the edge of the trampoline. I followed and when I sat on the edge he looked at me with so much love and emotion I kissed him again. This time he didn't push me away.
He lifted me, my legs around his waist, and started towards the downstairs sliding glass doors. His room was in the basement. He pushed the door open and walked us to his room where he kicked off his shoes. My converse slipped off easily. He went to push the door shut to his room and as he did my back hit into it hard. My muscles hurt but I wasn't going to show it that easily or he'd catch on. The feeling made him nuts and he kissed me hard. Kissing he carried me over to the bed and lay me down softly. He kissed down my jaw line and on my neck.
He started to take off his shirt and I ran my hands down his torso. He shook with pleasure and came back down on top of me, kissing me hard. I felt his need with every kiss. He bit my lower lip and my mouth opened to his. I wanted this more than anything right now. He pulled my shirt up and off. Of course I hadn't worn a bra, there was nothing to hide. But in this moment I felt so vulnerable under his gaze. I began to cover my boyish body up but he stopped me.
"Your beautiful. You've been beautiful to me since the day we met." He kissed down my chest and my stomach to the edge of my pants. He looked up at me, asking for permission. When he saw the look in my eyes he didn't hesitate to take my pants off. Then his followed afterwards. He pushed me further up into the bed, pulling the covers up over our bodies so I wouldn't be cold. He just looked down at me, his eyes full of love and lust all at the same time. I reached up and put my arms around his neck, pulling him down to me.
