Hello there, and thank you for choosing to give my story a read. This is a continuation of Part I, and so if you have not read it, you may be spoiled on the story up to this point, or missing context for certain story developments that continue the over-arching story. In any case, I do not want to restate the things from Part I's notes, so this author's note will be mostly new stuff, including an explanation as to why there are two parts. Once again, I will try to be brief.
So firstly, at the very least read the Author's Note of Part I as it explains things that are also true here. Second, I will talk about the separation of parts. The story is turning out to be quite a long one, and while I don't expect it to be as long as the story that inspired it (in case you were wondering, yes, my pirate story is inspired by One Piece), I thought it better to divide into Parts so that readers have a better, more immediate idea of where the story is at.
In the story, the crew have spent fifteen months travelling through three seas to get to the Terminus, and this is encompassed by Part I, a total of 75 chapters. Now they are in the Terminus, and the adventures are going to be more dense and numerous than before. At the moment, I have Part I and Part II, but depending on how many chapters might be needed to tell the story of the Sea Itself, Part II might lead into Part III, in which case Part II would be named The Sea Itself: Year One or something to that effect.
Anyway, I look forward to writing this next part, as the ideas have been sitting in my mind for years now, and I want to see them fully realised. I hope you enjoy reading this new addition to Terminus. Onward, to adventure!
