When Love Lasts

As the family all sat in the living room laughing at the Mikaelson family stories, what they did not expect was that the Mystic falls gang were planning with a group of vicious werewolves.

" Once she's dead you'll leave us alone? ", Damon said with no remorse towards Bonnie.

" We either need the Bennett witch or the doppelganger to die, we don't not care which one", the werewolf said.

" We'll do it ", Caroline said.

" We will help you ", the werewolf said as the unlikely group continued to plan Bonnie's death

As the family walked along the pavement, out of the shadows figures ran out and grabbed the Mikaelson family. As a werewolf grabbed Rebekah she smacked her elbow against his jaw, stumbling back the werewolf walked into Marcel who snapped the werewolf's neck and smiled at Rebekah who smiled back at him. As another werewolf wrapped his arms around Bonnie's waist she kicked her foot back into the werewolfs stomach, pushing out of the werewolves' grip Bonnie used her magic to throw him into a tree and turned to where the rest of the fight was taking place. As a group of werewolves and Caroline and Elena teamed up on Madelyn and Britta, Bonnie gave the attackers aneurysms and then threw them into a pair of werewolves that were going after Finn and Klaus. Nodding at Bonnie, the pairs turned back to the fight. Looking at Bonnie, Kol continued to fight alongside Elijah when he heard Bonnie scream.

Turning in Bonnie's direction Kol sped around and saw Damon with his hand around Bonnie's neck and a stake pointed at Bonnie's abdomen.

" Get off me ", Bonnie yelled as she kicked backwards into Damon's groin and pushed him off of her, using his speed Damon got hands back around Bonnie and held her by her throat

" Shut up ", Damon growled as he plunged the stake into Bonnie's abdomen , screaming in pain, Bonnie bent over clutching her stomach as the rest of the family turned to look at Bonnie.

Rushing towards his girlfriend, Kol vampire sped towards Damon and Bonnie, running in front of Kol Stefan made an attempt to stop him. However as Kol saw Bonnie screaming in pain his body reacted and he snapped Stefans neck and tossed him to the side.

A wave of fear washed over Damaon's eyes as they connected with Kol's pitch black ones Damon pulled the stake out and took a step back right into Klaus and Elijah. As the stake was pulled out Bonnie let out a small cry of pain before falling down into Kol's arms.

" Bonnie ", Rebekah yelled as she ran over to where Bonnie was laying in Kol's arms.

Turning her head to look at Kol Bonnie smiled slowly as she placed her shaking hand on Kol's cheek, " I love you ", she whispered quietly as she gently closed her eyes.

As a tear rolled down Kols face he saw Bonnie's head fall and her eyes shut, " Bonnie ... BONNIE ", Kol said as he shook his girlfriends still body laying limp in his arms, running his hand over the wound Kol listenned and when he was met by the absence of Bonnie's beating heart he let his hands fall to his sides

Letting out a small sob Katherine ran over to Rebekah and covered her mouth with her hands, werewolves dead bodies lined the majestic lawn, the only one left was Damon, the rest of the friends and few werewolves had fled the minute they realised they were leaving Damon, who was struggling against Klaus and Elijha's tight grips on his arms. Laying Bonnie down on the ground, Kol stood up, his eyes pitch black as he turned to Damon who's dead heart would have pounded furiously at the sight of Kol. Walking over to Damon, Kol let out a small growl, picking up Damon by his neck Kol's dark eyes bore into the man that killed his world.
