Chapter 5

Dani's POV

I woke up to squealing and giggling, as Spencer and melody kept jumping on my bed shouting for me to get up through there giggles, I laughed as I grabbed them by there waist, and pulled them down to lay next to me, tickling there sides my laughs mixed with there giggles, enjoying being with them after such along time.

" STOP MOMMY, STOP!" They screamed, through there laughs

"Okay, okay, okay." I laughed. While getting off them and laying down next to them and watched spongebob with them as they both fell back asleep while I ran my fingers through there soft and thick hair.

I decided to drag my lazy self out of bed and into the kitchen and make myself some cereal, once I turned around I saw lily standing in the doorway of the kitchen with a worried look on her face.

"C'mere." She said opening her arms for me to run into, I walked into her arms wrapping my own around her torso, suddenly the past too weeks came back to me and the tears uncontrollably spilled out.

As the tears continued to poor I realized how much like really meant to me, how much I needed and him and how unconditionally I really loved him. The past three have only made my love for him grow without me realizing it, I was blindly falling with my dorky best friend more and more everyday, and still am.

The tears started coming down harder but that made Lilly hold me tighter while whispering calming things in my ears and kiss my head multiple times.

"How is he." She asked concerned

"They say it's a fifty fifty percent chance he's gonna wake up." I cried out.

"Oh my god." She cried.

Even though lily was a couple years in leer than me and Luke, she still hung out with us all the time Logan too, Luke was like, no he is apart of our family and all of us would be heart broken if he didn't make it. So wouldn't the boys, they join the group until we were all teenagers but it still counts by a ton.

Just then my phone rang from the other room, so I pulled back from the hug and hurriedly walked into my room and looked at the caller I.D to see it was liz. My heart stopped before I hurriedly answered the phone.

" Hello." I said, with a shaky breath, while hearing a cry escape Liz from the other line.

" Dani, the doctors told me his condition has gotten worse, it's very unlikely he's gonna wake up."She cries.

" Okay, I'm on my way, I'll be there soon." I say with a shaky breath, I quickly got changed into black ATL sweats and a grey v-neck, I pulled on my black vans and pulled my un-brushed hair into a pony tale, grabbed my keys and walked out of my room to be met with Lilly.

" Where are you going."She asked.

Too the hospital, Luke, he's not doing so well." I answered, looking at her expression change from curious to sad and worried.

I walked out of the house and to the car starting it up and driving to the hospital, once I got there I ran to Luke's room to see Liz and Andrew sitting in the chairs next Luke's bed, her head rest on his shoulder his arm around her shoulder and there free hands intertwined together.

Liz saw me as I walked into the room, as she and Andrew got up to give me some time alone with Luke, when they walked past me they both gave me a hug and left.

I just, I stood there, looking at the beautiful boy in front of me, he looked so peaceful, he looked like he was asleep, but he wasn't.

Suddenly the tears just poured out of my eyes as I sobbed, i put my hand on his cheek feeling the soft skin.

"Luke,please, just wake up, I-I-I need you here, and so doesn't everyone else that cares about you, especially your fans, your fans they love you, your family loves you, the guys love you, Lilly and Logan love you, and I love you , more than you'll never know, so please none of us could live without you so please wake up just please, just please." I sobbed out, putting my hands over my face not being able to see anything.

And then, I felt a pair of hands remove mine from my face, when I looked up made my tears fall harder, it was Luke, he was awake.

He was alive.
