Chapter 22: You make me proud

2d's pov:

I pulled away as soon as I could

"MURDOC!" I covered my mouth quickly with my hands and dropped the microphone. It made a loud feedback squeal and I yelped.

"Are you crazy! Noodle and Russ will be out any minute!" I look to my right and there they are, holding a couple beers and their eyes glazed over with surprise.

"Russ! looks like our singer was in front of our eyes this entire time!" She happily skipped up to me and Murdoc and handed him a beer.

"Here you go Murdoc-san! I'm not sure what you drink 2d, so I just got you the same thing." She smiled ear to ear and handed me the same drink.

"H-how much of that d-did you see" I said while taking the drink in one hand and cupping it with the other.

"More like how much did we hear." said Russell as he walked to the couch "We heard your bad ass singing, D!" he slumped down on the couch. Murdoc had been silent this entire time until now.

"Right, that's it?" he asked calmly while taking the drink in his hands.

"Yeah, what else would we have seen?" Noodle asked while skipping to sit down next to Russel

"Nothing... never mind that. But yes, my blue bird has one of the best voices I've ever heard! His looks are just as ravishing as his singing." he paused and looked at me before making his weird grunting noise. "He'd be a great front man!" Murdoc replies as he flung his hands in the air, a small amount of beer spilling as he did so.

He sat down on the couch in front of noodle and took a big swing of his beer. "Whadduya think, Dentz? You have what it takes to be a part of 'Gorillaz'?" he winked at me and rested his back against the couch, arms leaning against the top and legs crossed.

Did I wanna be a part of 'Gorillaz'? I mean, it meant I got to spend more time with mudz... I don't know.

"Erm... I don't see why not?"

Giggles and clapping erupted from the group, all the giggles came from noodle and the clapping from Russell. Murdoc sat there in silence, eyeing me up and down before he joined in and slow clapped.

"You make me proud, blue bird"

Murdoc's pov:

The singer reluctantly sat next to me and I, being the devil that I am, scooted closer and wrapped my arm around his shoulder. He was so small, it was kind of adorable. I earned a small flinch as his body tensed up and his eyes widened.

"I ship it!" Noodle squealed while taking a sip from her juice, she never was one for drinking.

Both me and the kid looked up at her "Ship?" we said at the same time.

"Ugh I always forget you and 2d-san are so old!Forget I said anything. Although... you two would make a cute couple!" she laughed and russell nudged her arm.

"You're embarrassing them, baby girl" They both laughed at us, seeing as we had the dumbest look on our faces.

"No way! I-I see murdoc as a father figure! Nothing m-more." the bluenette yelled and pouted before looking away, he crossed his arms thinking this made him more intimidating. It didn't. In fact, it made him more adorable.

"Aw I'm flattered 2d, really" I said, placing a hand on my chest and faking puppy dog eyes. "Is this why you always insist on calling me 'daddy' in bed?" I questioned while looking at him with a raised eyebrow. Satan, this is the most fun i've had since we fucked!

The kid jumped to his feet as me, Russell, and Noodle erupted into laughter. The room was filled with random noises such as knee slapping and snorts.

"Oh my god, Murdoc! That was a good one!" Noodle said in between laughs.

"Murdoc! Don't lie! We haven't done anything like that before! And I would never do that... stuff... with you!" Who was he kidding? He acts like he didn't have sex with me. This week no less!

"Right, sorry about that mate. I just love teasing you" I grinned and pulled him down to sit next to me again. I brought him in close while Noodle and Russ were distracted and whispered one thing in his ear.

"But jokes aside, you should start doing that in bed... bottom" the kid gulped and his face turned red. He stood up one more time.

"Refills?" he said quickly while taking my hand and pulling me in the direction of the kitchen

"No we're good-" Russell started but before he could finish, we were already halfway there.

Whoops, I struck a nerve didn't I?
