Andrew's grandfather finished telling the story of the Phantom Man. His grandson got excited with what he heard, and wanted to use magic to fight the monsters that inhabited his imagination. Old Jonathan felt that the boy had really enjoyed the story, and smiled at him. He thought it was about time for the boy to know more about how the world of magic worked.

As they continued their conversation, a man in a dark gray hood approached them. Jonathan noticed that he had wrinkled skin and seemed to have red eyes.

"Which way is the Silverstone antique store?" The stranger asked, with a slow voice.

"I believe it's close to the Big Ben. Keep going until you get to the street. I think you'll have to ask for an app driver. You can use your smartphone to find one. They could get you there," the child's grandfather said.

The man thanked him and showed his pointed teeth. He looked at Andrew who, raising his head, looked back at him. The child's eyes turned orange, as if they were on fire. The creature disappeared from their front, seeming to disintegrate like dust in the wind. The sound of the breeze drove the particles away from them.

At that moment, the old man realized that the boy had inherited his father's powers.

At the Court of Law, Alexia, now a judge in the new country she was living in, heard a lawyer and a prosecutor expose their arguments during a trial of feminicide in which witchcraft was used, right in the 21st century. Had they come back?

Later at home, everyone was together for dinner. Jonathan, who was Juan in his human form, told her what had happened. Soon, someone came in through the living room door. It was Philip.

"I'm starving, darling. I taught classes all day," he said as he kissed her on the cheek before looking at their son. "How's our dearest boy? Are you doing fine?" The young wizard knelt before his son and hugged him.

"Juan, have you gone out for a walk with your grandson today?" Philip said as he hugged the old man.

"You either call me Jonathan or Juan. Calling me both names is messing up my mind! I'm too old for this!"

"Okay, Jonathan!" Everyone smiled.

"Dad, I saw a monster today at the park after Grandpa told me the story of the Phantom Man. It was awesome..."

"I think it's a little too early for him to learn about these things, Jonathan. Don't you agree, darling?"

"The world is changing, and our son needs to get used to our reality. Speaking of which, today I worked on a strange case in court. A murder that involved magic. It looks like something weird is going to happen."

"There'll always be magic in the world. It's up to us to decide which side of it we choose. Your grandfather and I will always be here to protect our family."

Juan nodded in agreement.

"After all, it is thanks to the magic of love we are here. Today I told Andrew an amazing story. I think words in general can be magical, since they can change our lives. Words have power," Juan said, knowing deep inside that all he said was true.

THE END
