  Aubrey's POV

It had been two weeks since the terrible event that had destroyed Aidan. His carefree personality? Gone. Replaced by tears and emptiness and fear. His handsome face? Bloody, bruised, covered in bandages. Yet, Aubrey still loved him. She would never stop loving him.

Two weeks ago, Aidan had survived a very bad car crash. But, only just. The way he was going now, Aubrey feared he might kill himself.

Since the crash, Aidan's had some horrible panic attacks, and Aubrey has been there to help him through each one.

He seemed to be doing a lot better today, which was good. He was currently in the living room watching a movie and eating popcorn with a shaking hand. Aubrey sat next to Aidan.

"Hey, Aub." He said. No emotion, no smile.

"Hey, Love. Do you want to go with me to the grocery store, or will you be okay here?"

Aidan glanced nervously at the car parked outside.

"Stay here." Aidan hadn't stepped foot in a car since the accident. Aubrey watched him closely. He seemed okay.

"All right. See you in a bit." Aidan nodded and Aubrey headed to the grocery store.

Once there, she picked out a few things for Aidan. Tootsie rolls, obviously. Then, she picked out a warm blanket. She paid, and left, not knowing what she would find at home.

Aubrey hauled the bags inside, laying them down on the table. Aidan wasn't on the couch.

". . .Babe?" Aubrey started sprinting through the house, checking every possible hiding place in the house, whipping back the shower curtain and pulling cabinets open.

"Stop. Please, stop it!"  Aubrey heard Aidan's sob and rushed to the pantry. Sure enough, Aidan was sitting there. Rocking back and forth, tears flowing down his face.

  "Oh, Aidan." Aubrey said.

"Shh. It's okay, everything's okay. Don't be afraid. I'm here."

  "I-I c-c-can't." Aidan managed.

"You can't what?" Aubrey asked in a soothing voice.

"Live. Please, Aubrey. Please let me die."

"Hey.. Hey.." Aubrey layed her head on Aidan's chest. She grabbed his hand, laying it right in front of her head.

  "Feel that?" Aubrey mumured.

  "Yes." Aidan whispered back.

"That's your heartbeat. If it stopped, I'd never forgive myself. I'd die, too. I love you so much. If you can't live yourself, live for me."

Aidan's sobs faded.

  "Okay.." he croaked.

"I.. love you." He told Aubrey. She teared up. The last time he said those three words was the morning of the accident. Aidan would hold on to this event forever, but he would better. Everything can get better if you have the right people to get you through it.
