( SEASON SIX
EPISODE 9: NO WAY OUT )

TOGETHER, the group walked hand in hand around Alexandria. Walkers weren't biting them since they were covered in the flesh of walkers. James was in between Rick and Carl, he really hoped he didn't see Maggie's dead corpse anywhere. They all stop in a corner, "All right, new plan." Rick spoke.

"Flares from a few guns aren't enough. Too many walkers, too spread out. We're not going to the armory. We need our vehicles back at the quarry. All of us drive. We'll need to round them up." He explains. "We leave, we come back." Rick finishes. "Okay." Sara and Jessie say at the same time.

"What about Judith?" Sara questions. "I'll take her." Gabriel spoke. "Keep her safe in my church until you all lead the walkers away." He explains. "I'll come with." Sara tells Gabriel. "Can you do this?" Michonne asked.

"I'm supposed to. I have to. I will."

Carl hands Gabriel Judith, "Take Sam." Jessie tells them. "No." Sam declines. "Yes, Sam it'll be more safer." She defends. "I'm not leaving you." He tells her. "Sam, we'll keep you safe, alright?" Sara smiles softly. "No. I can keep going."

"Sam- I can keep going. Please."

"Please."

"Okay." Jessie sighs. Gabriel looks at Rick, "We're going to keep her safe." He says. "Thank you." Rick says, looking at Sara and Gabriel. "Be safe. Alright?" James says to Sara and Gabriel. They both nod before walking towards the church.

"Hey. They're gonna make it. Okay?" Jessie comforts Rick. "I know it." She says. "Sam." Rick brings out his hand, James quickly grabs Carl's hand, then Ron's. Next, they all start walking again.

It had been hours of walking, it was now nighttime. James prayed that Maggie was okay, he did see a walker get on top of her and it looked like it got her. "Sam." Jessie spoke. James looks to see that Sam was completely stopped in his tracks. He looked scared and frightened.

"Come on, come on."

"Sweetheart? Sam." He was now crying. "You can do it." Rick tells him. "Hey, Sam. It's okay." James looked at him. "You can do it. Yes you can."

They were all trying to comfort him, making sure he could move. But Sam wouldn't even move at all, he stood there and cried. "Sam...hey you can do this." Ron spoke. "Sam, just look at mom." He told him. "Honey, you can do it."

"Sam, you're gonna get- Sam, honey, I need you to come with me." Sam kept letting out whimpers while he was crying, "Sam, Sam. You can do this." James tries his best to comfort him. "I need you to be strong."
