s.Korea's students enter elementary school when they are 8.
Elementary school has 1st to 6th grade, so they graduate there at 13.

14, 15, 16 are for middle school and 17 years old is the first grage of high school. The third grade is the last one of there.

​Yugeom and jungkook were classmates for 1st and 2nd grade. 

​He found that they had a lof of similarities and as yugeom was a very friendly of course nice boy, jungkook's heart melt little by little.

Little did he know yugeom liked him.

As yugeom did everything for jungkook and tried to comfort him, jungkook thought maybe he could trust him.

One day, jungkook told him about the past he felt much pain about, and now he coudln't be fully open cause of that disbelief.

He didn't mean to say it like that but yugeom misunderstood now he became jk's most important one as he tell his own secret.

When the last semester of 2nd grade ended, yugeom confessed him.
Jungkook was badly shocked as he didn't expect about this kind of thing.

But he was afraid if he might lose his only friend. So he reluctantly accepted yugeom.

The first few months went as normal, like they were still best friends.
However afterwards- whenever yugeom touched him with affection, jungkook couldn't take it anymore.

Jungkook decided to tell the truth. He wished yugeom would understand him.

However, he'd perfectly hidden his emotion, yugeom shouted him with feelings of being betrayed and embarrassed.

"You liar!"

Liar, jungkook knew that he'd never shown the truth of him to yugeom, even for his own family.
He knew himself was always lying, fake and selfish, and the dirty things fulfilled inside of his heart.

After ran away to different high school from yugeom, jungkook suffered from depression.
He wanted to stop acting like a different person in new school but it grew into a habit.

Or maybe, his personality just changed from kindhearted to stony due to the childhood experiences he guessed.

Jungkook spent the 2 years in high school, doing nothings.
He didn't take up studying or relationship anymore. Jungkook just tried hard to get his thoughts into shape.

One good thing of the situation was jungkook had a strong ego; self-esteem.

He got plenty of rest enough to start over, he decided not to overthink everything and do what he wanted.
Though his heart was closed till these days, jungkook felt better than 2 years ago.

Before the last year of high school started his family had to move to their hometown. That meant, jungkook became a transfer.

Jungkook actually relieved that they were returning to Busan so would never met the people who knew about the worst fake one of himself again.
