"Eight! Eight?" Five grabs her attention from the floor.

"Sorry what were you saying?" 8 says, her green eyes finding his blue ones.

"Vanya offered us the couch..." Five glanced over to the smallish couch with a small smirk being suppressed badly.

"Well, I'm going to sleep. See you in the morning?" Vanya mumbles into Eight's shoulder with Both 5 and 8 nodding in response.

Vanya leaves the two of them standing in the living room. They both agree that staying would be weird so they agreed to rather go back to the academy.

When they arrived back at the academy, Eight found her way to the kitchen.

"Didn't you eat something back at Griddy's?" Five asks jumping into the kitchen causing 8 to fall to the ground, clutching her ears.

"8! You ok?" He whispers while running to her side.

"Could you not enter a room any louder?" 8 says backing into the cabinet behind her to regain herself.

"What do you mean? I jumped in here and didn't make any noise," He said looking at her with a curious look in his eyes. 

"He told me this might happen," She whispers to herself while resting her head on the cabinets behind her.

"What might happen?" 5 asks while making himself comfortable next to her on the floor.

"That I might gain powers and my dumbass forgot about it," She says as she rests her head on Five's shoulder.

"We should probably get some sleep," Five stands, lending a hand to Eight which she gladly takes.

"Better be careful with any sounds from now on. He also said they might fade over time," Eight says as they begin to walk before they realise that they don't need to since they have... you know... pOwERs.

They jumped to Five's room and Eight fell onto the bed before he could say anything. She didn't particularly want to sleep in her room in the basement. The room that Five doesn't know about.

"I'll go grab a set of pj's for you from Allison's closet," To which she looks at him weird after sitting up a bit.

"What? It's not like she uses them anymore," She gives him a look that says 'fair enough' before lying back down. 

While Five goes on the hunt for some clothes, she looks around his room taking in an almost nostalgic feeling. She stands and runs her hand over everything as she walks around making it to the door where she meets Five again. He hands it to her and she grabs it as she walks back to the bed. 

"Aren't you gonna put that o- you already are," Five cuts himself off when he notices her already changing and turns around and shuts the door to give her some privacy. 

"Sorry. Used to being on my own I guess," She says as she opens the door to reveal a pink Five. She snorts but turns back around to hide it. He's got it bad.

"Uh yeah *insert small laugh* yeah," Five says while walking back into his room running his hand over the back of his neck.

"Would you mind if I stayed with you tonight?"

"NO! I-I mean yeah it's ok," Geez Five, get yourself together, he thought to himself. She chuckles as she invites him lie next to her, patting the spot next to her. He sheepishly wanders over to the bed, making himself comfortable next to her.

They face each other before Eight turns to face the window while her eyes become heavy and draw her into a deep sleep. Five knew he was going to have trouble sleeping but only because of the girl in front of him. He only met her today and he manages to get flustered around her instantly.

A/N

So... i'm planning to pull an all nighter to write a few chapters so i'm sitting on my couch at 11:34 pm (to be exact) drinking a monster and coffee while listening to music and i gotta tell you, it's a whole vibe i recommend. alsoooooo five has *feelings* for her and he's only just met her ;) talk about love at first sight am i right? does anyone know any good songs to recommend me? im looking for some more music right now to expand my music taste.

alsoooo this book has like over 600 reads and that is just INSANE and i couldn't be more happy and thankful for you guys who are reading my book ahhhhhhhh!!!!!! ya'll dont even know how happy it makes me to see that many reads! well ya'll have a good rest of the day/night
