Number 8 was born on the same day as all of the other kids from the umbrella academy. October 1st, 1989. Number 8 was born to a married couple who, at the time, were struggling to start a family due to infertility troubles until this day.
The young woman woke at the strike of midnight, signalling the very first hour of the day, with a scream that would make your blood run cold. It was filled with pain and confusion. She sat up mid scream to see a puddle of blood underneath but but being surprised by a contraction followed by the cries of a baby.
She picked up the baby from between her legs, looking over to her now wide awake husband. they both were sitting up in their bed, with tears of joy gushing from their eyes. They didn't care how this had happened they only cared that there was a healthy baby girl in their life now. The name she was given is still unknown to this day.
~ Two Years Later ~
The mother had just rocked her baby to sleep and placed her gently into her crib when she felt a sharp pain in her back, resulting in a coughing fit. She began to cough out blood but only for the sharp pain in her back to be removed. Her knees gave out beneath her and she collapsed with a loud thud. her breathes became short and desperate. Her lungs begging for the air it was being deprived of.
Her husband was next. He ran into the babies room to find his wife on the floor, slowly bleeding out. There was nothing he could do before he was met with the same fate. The figure who had killed the pair stepped over them and disappeared out of the room leaving the baby to die alone...
Or so they thought...
