"Well, this is not good,"Five complained as he adjusted his eye's to the harsh light of day outside the lab.

"I was pretty good, though, right? 'Yeah what about my consent, bitch?'" Klaus giggled as the pair were exiting the building.

"Klaus, it doesn't matter,"

"What? What? What's the big deal with this eye, anyway?"

"There is someone out there that is going to lose an eye in the next 7 days and they're going to-"

"-bring about the end of the world as we know it," Eight grinned as she scared the life out of Five.

"Shit! Don't jump up on me like that! Can you also stop finishing my sentences please?" He shouted as he jumped from where he was standing.

"Nope! Never!" She sang as she took a seat on the steps in front of the lab.

"Yeah, can I get that 20 bucks, like, now, or what?"

"Your twenty bucks?" Five looked at Klaus with disbelief as he join Eight on the step.

"Yeah my twenty bucks," Number 4 retorted back with a hint of attitude.

"The apocalypse is coming and all you can think about is getting high?"

"Well I'm quite hungry actually. Tummy's a-rumblin," Klaus said while making a fake grumbling noise.

"You're useless,"

"Oh come on! You need to lighten up old man! Hey- I've just now realised why your so uptight. You must be horny as hell!" Klaus exclaimed out with realisation in his voice.

"TMI Klaus! TMI!" Number 8 makes a fake gagging noise which Five laughs at making them both burst into a short lived laughing fit.

"Being alone all those years must screw with your head,"

"I wasn't alone," Five muttered but still loud enough for it to catch at their ears.

"Delores... I bet you miss her," Eight sighed. She remembered her and how jealous she felt that Five had someone or someone had Five more like. She felt herself frown remembering watching as the two of them got along so well even if she was just half of a mannequin.

"Delores? Pray tell!" Klaus sat up all excited to hear about his 'younger' brother's love life.

"Actually I think I'm quite over her now," He says while watching Eight brushing her hand over the cement below her feet slowly as if lost in thought. "Actually, I know I am,"

"So you're not going to question how I know her or...?"

"I've learnt not to question you at this point in time, Eight. You're unpredictable,"

"Just like you I guess," Eight draws their attention towards the place they are sitting in front of before looking at Five with a look that could just about kill him.

"Look, I'm sorry but-"

"It's ok Five. I knew you would come back here,"

"You're ok with me literally lying to you?" He said with complete confusion plastered all over his small face.

"I tried to stop you from saving the world! I should only be mad at myself," She sighed before looking up at Five and Klaus, who was lost in his own world, with eyes that looked sad and tired.

Five quietly stood up and extended his hand to her which she took. He jumped them into a passing cab. When they realised the way they landed in the cab- Eight lying on top of Five- they quickly shuffled to their own seats before both of them were completely taken over by embarrassment.

"Don't stop. Keep driving," Five instructed the shocked driver of the cab. Eight looked out the window only to see a very confused Klaus and decided to wave at him. Back to the academy I guess.

When the two of them arrived back at the Academy, it was already late. Eight had plans to go find herself a new outfit and Five had plans to visit someone. They both made excuses but little did they know that they would end up going to the exact same place.

"Hey Five? I'm just gonna go do something for someone I'll be back before the morning ok?"

"Sure. I don't think you need to ask me, because I'm going out too, so I won't be waiting up for you anyway," They just swapped a smile and both jumped to the place's they said they were going to.

Eight found herself by the same jackets and jeans she left there earlier that same day. She found her size in both plus an ACDC t-shirt and some Doc Martins to finish the outfit.

She was quite happy with it but her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a familiar voice. Five? She thought as she snuck closer to the source of the voice

The boy was standing by a display of mannequins and seemed to be talking to one, the one in the middle specifically.

"Delores. It's good to see you," The boy stood taking in her face again. He hadn't seen her for a while and he quite missed the conversations they had. She always knew what to say to him.

"I've missed you... obviously," Five sighed as he struggled to get the words out. He was almost at tears thinking about the years they spent together,

Sure he had 30 years with her and she was someone that Five could spent eternity, he still had missed her face. In Five's eye's she was perfect- well almost as perfect as someone else.

"You know how you told me that I would find someone else eventually? Yeah, I found her," He mumbled out trying to not hurt Delores in anyway.

"I cherished the moments we spent together. Being alone with someone for that many years really does something to a person. Klaus was right for once. Ha, that's a first. I knew this would happen but I don't think it would be so soon,"

"The way this girl makes me feel is... special. You were-are- someone very close to my heart but time's change and I'm sorry. You deserve better Delores,"

Five placed a hand on hers before a tear came rolling slowly down his cheek. I didn't even realise there we tears in my eyes...
