I've gotten impatient waiting for tomorrow to come, and I feel bad for not having this posted last week, so here's an early chapter. Another will be posted tomorrow too. Enjoy!

The twins walked out, into the mass of people, their little sister still in Harriet's arms. They gathered looks as they walked, both of them. Hadrian smirked as some of the older women gave him looks of longing. He found it amusing that middle aged women wanted him. Harriet, meanwhile, rolled her eyes as she was stared at by men and boys alike. Some of them were as young as 13 and as old as 70. Hadrian flourished in the attention, and would strive for it, as subtle as he did. Harriet, on the other hand, hated the attention, but, as is with most things, gained more attention than her younger brother. At Hogwarts, it was because she was a Slytherin, the parties she threw that were invite only, or her hair that, according to the rumor mill, changed colors at night. It was really her metamorph powers coming into play, she made her hair silver while she partied, so that her friends could color it how they wanted with chalk and such things.

Lily and James stood by the fountain, talking to a group of people that the twins had never seen before. They had their backs to them, and those in the group that did not, weren't paying attention as the twins approached, too busy listening to James as he told a story, motioning animatedly.

"Mummy," Remi muttered as she rubbed her eyes, clearly tired.

Lily spun around, her dress flowing around her. Her warm green eyes shined with love as they landed upon Remi, and a bright smile broke out. But, before she could say anything, her gaze traveled over to Hadrian, somehow missing Harriet entirely. She internally sighed, she had strived for her mother's attention as a child, but now, she couldn't care less what her parents thought.

"Mummy! Ry and Ari came home! They're back!" Remi spoke excitedly.

Remi cuddled into Harriet's side as Lily's eyes widened comically. The twins wanted to laugh at the shock on their mother's face.

"Hadrian?" she stared at Harriet's younger brother.

"And Ari!" Remi, always inclusive, chirped.

Then, the shocked look was transferred over to the eldest of the Potter children, the one that had been forgotten entirely. While Hadrian had always gotten some form of 'hello' or move', Harriet had been forgotten by all but her twin brother and their sister.

Lily stared at the two in front of her, aghast. Hadrian's hair, still damp from the shower, was drying into small curls, and his form was seemingly relaxed as he stood in front of his mother, his twin sister next to him, staring vacantly. Harriet's hands, no longer seemingly permanently covered in frosting or paint, held her youngest sibling with such care, it was almost impossible to compare her to the little girl that had run around the manor years ago. Her gaze, even as she stared vacantly just past Lily's ear into the distance, unnerved her. As often as Harriet had stared off into the distance as a child, never had her expression been so closed off, emotionless. Had Lily been better versed in the world of phycology, and actually had a relationship with her eldest children, would have recognized that Harriet was not staring absentmindedly into the distance, but paying attention to every little detail, absorbing it all to be put to use later.

"Right Lily?" James laughed behind them.

Neither twin were too terribly surprised when the crowd laughed with him. James Potter had an easy going air about him-one that made everyone want to be friends with him. Hadrian watched as their father waited for his wife to answer him for a moment before turning around. He subtly signed on his sister's thigh, letting her know that it was almost time for her to 'tune in,' but one person caught the signing. A person who-in another story, in another time, would have been the twins's best friend; their shared godfather.
