9. Engagement Day

Namrata's pov:

I woke up at 5 and did my morning chores and started doing my assignment finally at 9 I completed and got ready and went downstairs..
Every eyes were on me....

"Good morning everyone.. I am leaving for college I am already late see you in the evening" i said
"but have your breakfast its your favourite aloo paratha" di said
"di please pack for me I will have it in college"

"Namrata"papa called
"yes papa..."
"what's is your decision"
shittt... can't di pack fast i need to go and I don't want to answer first means before knowing Aditya's answer

"papa I have not thought about it actually"
"ok think about it because they have given their answer "
"ok dad" and took the tiffin from di's hand and rushed out from home

I was starting my scooty when di came up to me and said
"its a yes from Aditya"
"what???" I was really shocked

"How can someone decide so fast.. how can he not think that I am fat and i dont even don't look very good even I don't put so much makeup and he is opposite of me he is smart, handsome, perfect shape, his eyes everything was perfect then how come can he say yes to me.." with these thoughts in my mind i reached college

I was thinking that i should tell all these things to my friends or not then finally i decided that yes i should and told them everything... 

Then they suggested me that i should talk to Aditya and clear my doubts and talk whatever is in my mind and decide.. i made a note to myself that at 7:30 pm. i will call him...

Aditya's pov:

I the breakfast table also nobody said something about Namrata what was taking this long to answer.. Is there any confusion? does she knows my answer? all these thoughts were running in my mind..

It was around 7:30 pm i was at my office room

My phone buzzed and I see Namrata was calling
"hello" i said
"hi" she said
"can we talk for a moment? if you are busy then we can talk later" she asked
"no i was just working but we can talk i can do it after sometime"

"Actually papa told me today morning about your decision... and..." she stopped
"and?"
"I want to ask you something"
"yes you may"
"Why you want to marry me?"

"What type of question is it?"
"I mean I am chubby actually no fat, I don't look good, I am not a beautiful girl and ..."

I cut her in between and said
"listen whatever kind of things you are saying it doesn't matter to me.. I have already told you that what expectations I have from my life partner and you are beautiful, your simplicity, you are really different and whatever you are saying, it won't change my answer"

"okay"
"so all your doubts are clear?"
"actually yes"
"so may I know your answer?"
"i need to think.. so i will give my answer tomorrow"
"i will be waiting"
"bye good night"
"good night"

Namrata's pov:

The moment I heard his answer about my doubt i made my mind that Yes he is the one for me....

After dinner I and di were chatting in my room about my studies then she suddenly asked me for my answer and I blushed by the mention of it
"di.. its a yes from my side also"
"are you sure?"
"yes di definitely"
she came and gave me a bone cracking hug and congratulated me..
"but di please tell everyone after I go to college"
"but why"
"actually di I firstly want to tell aditya.. ans secondly I don't want to be teased by everyone at one time"
"ohhhoooo.... from now only first priority to him"
"ohho di first one you are to know only"
"ohh ya.. so get ready to become Mrs. Namrata Aditya Chakravarty" she teased me with a wink
"di... please"
"somebody is really becoming red"
"di no.. I am going to sleep "
"ya get into sleep early.. then only you can dream about Aditya"
"good night di you dream about jiju then"
this time di blushed
