10. Engaged

continued from the last chapter..

Namrata's pov:

Today is my aashirbaad and engagement with Aditya.. continuously chills are running down through my nerves today.. It's a very different feeling.. I wasn't allowed to work any of things for the preparation I was there just to rest and roam around...

It was 3pm when di told me to get some sleep because they are arriving in the evening so to look fresh I should grab some sleep and make sleep saanvi also otherwise she would be cranky in the evening..

It was around 5pm when my friends came to home and they wake me up because rather than me they were excited to do me a makeover which was completely unnecessary i thought..

I took a quick shower and then my friends started doing my hair and they were ready to put whole world's makeup on my face but I wanted it to be minimal and simple.. Didi made me wear saree and my friends were teasing me continuously and even surprisingly on their teasing I can't stop blushing and a smile was sticking to my face continuously.. I really don't know why all these things are happening to me. .. all these are feelings are new to me..

It was around 6pm when I heard the sound of cars coming and few guests started arriving and finally at 7pm I heard Aditya and his family arrived..

Pooja- You are looking beautiful jiju will be mesmerized to see you😘
Nishi- really you will attack our jiju's poor heart today
Vedika- ya we are waiting to see jiju's expression..

Namrata- haha... you all stop this is real world nothing is going to happen like this
Naina- just wait and watch then.. between with mention of jiju you are blushing this much what will happen after marriage in the nights then.. all romantic , pure love , nights full of ...

Namrata- ohh please stop day dreaming.. i am thinking how will I walk in this saree it's too much for me.. can't I wear suit or simply jeans and t-shirt
Pooja- you will carry it don't worry.. otherwise jiju will hold you by your waist

I was going to give her reply but there was a knock on the door Nishi opened the door and all of the boys entered
Siddharth- woww.. this little witch is looking woww today
Namrata- and you mr.skeleton looking skeleton today also
Varun- but seriously you are looking extremely gorgeous today
Anshu- yes totally
Abhishek-seriously I never thought you would look so pretty
Namrata- thank you all of you

Nishi- what you all are doing here.. get out of this ladies room
varun- ya whatever we came for her not for you
Sid- lets go and see the arrangement

After like 30mins di called me to come downstairs and I was walking through the stairs when I saw Aditya looking so handsome in the kurta-pyjama.. The moment I looked at him my heart skipped a beat but slowly I went downstairs watching not to trip down and sat near god and our aashirbaad ceremony began with little pooja and then my family blessing him and his family blessing me..

Then it was time for us to exchange the rings he took my hand and made me wear the ring and kissed on my knuckles and I blushed that my face became red like a tomato.. he was holding my hand so softly that it felt like it's made of cotton.. And his hands were so big in comparison to mine.. Then it was my turn to put the ring on his fingers and I did it carefully and my friends burst the party poppers and there were hooting and clapping and throwing flowers on us all in the house...

Slowly Aditya told me in the ears welcome to my life.. and looking beautiful and I blushed and looked at him and I smiled this time and said you are also looking good and I saw his ears were red even he was blushing...

Then after that my friends helped me to get up he introduced me to his friends and I then introduced my friends to him... We posed with our friends and both of our friends started talking to each other and in between they were teasing both of us

After this we were asked by the photographer to pose and some poses were really being very close to each other like there was hugging from back I felt a little bit shy but thank god it was over.. I noticed that Aditya tried to comfort me.. I couldn't get how can someone be so understanding.. It was dinner time so we all sat and we were asked to feed each other so i fed him gulab jamun because it was easy to feed and he fed me biryani and our family and friends all were hooting and clapping..

After dinner it was time that Aditya and his family would head back to their house I was waiting at the door but near about I couldn't see Aditya.. I was waiting to see him. I was in my thoughts when pooja called me
pooja- hey come with me
me- where?
pooja- just come
she took me to my room and there aditya was standing
pooja- tell me thanks later jiju.. byee!!

I turned and saw pooja leaving
Aditya-hey fiance
me- hii
aditya- i wanted to give this to you earlier but couldn't get a chance.. this is for you..
he put a red velvet box infront of me
Me-thank you
Aditya- can I ask you something?
Me- yes
Aditya- can you pose for me?
I was looking at him with big eyes.. then he continued if want to otherwise its ok

me- i will.. i said to him

He took out his phone and clicked pictures of mine he was showing me the pics and then opened the selfie camera and he took some photos of us together...
me- send me these pics also
Aditya- yes i will
me- ok
Aditya- so..
me- ummm... so?
Aditya- good night
then he came closer to me and my heart beat was running at a speed like 100kmph he put a kiss on my forehead and said take care bye..! see you soon...

I had became pink by this time.. I had kept my head low and said Good night take care .. and put my head up and smiled.. he waited there for approx 2mins we had a eye lock and he said bye and left...

After Aditya's family left my relatives and friends also left for their home and finally it was 11 when I got rid of that saree
me- ohh di thank god this saree was eating me up.. now i am loving it in my pj's

didi- make a practice then you have to wear saree sometimes after marriage

me- ohh di I am not getting married (I said this suddenly because I had always said this from my childhood for ans of marriage.. and after saying this I realized what I have said and I bit my tongue a little)

didi- what??? She said in an utter shock which was written on her face

me- no di its just a slip of tongue.. I am sure I am getting married since i am engaged

didi- Are you happy in this new relation?
Me- di I am happy and besides I feel like Aditya is one for me because I do get this feel whenever I see him that he is the one for me..

Didi- Good... well day after tomorrow we are going back..
Me- no di please wait for some days..
Didi- I will come soon don't worry we need to shop for the wedding also
Me- ok di as you wish... I am going to sleep good night

di- yes get some sleep tomorrow we need to do some shopping
me- what? again shopping no I want to sleep.. I am not going
Didi- I am not asking I am telling you
Me- fine then I will come with you if you get me pizza.. hehe..

Didi- stop eating now and loose weight otherwise how aditya will carry you on your honeymoon
Me- ohh di please why will he carry me I can walk and let me eat otherwise I am not coming..

And di started laughing and then I realized what she actually meant and I started blushing
me- ohh di please..
Didi- what ohh di please don't ignore.. this will happen.. and someone is blushing..
me- diiiiii...
and she started tickling me on my waist,stomach saying here he will kiss i couldn't get breath due to tickling

Me- di please stop
didi- ok fine
me- sleep now and dream your honeymoon.. good night
and I immediately put comforter on me covering me head to toe..
Didi- ok and you imagine your upcoming wedding night and honeymoon.. good night to be Mrs.Aditya Chakravarty

I heard di calling me that but I ignored her and pretending to sleep.. soon I drifted into deep slumber..
