Barely a day had passed when Jimmy wanted to film the part two to the island video. This time he had ten people gathered to compete in ten challenges to win the actual island. Unlike the last challenge video, you didn't have to film this one. You were one of the competitors trying to win the $700,000 island.

The different challenges consisted of a variety of tasks such as "place a coconut in the pit" or games like hide and seek. One by one, people were slowly getting eliminated. A boat would come and take the person who was last eliminated off the island to shore. Your strategy was to just make sure you didn't come last in each challenge. It didn't matter if you came second to last just as long as someone came after you. The boys were focused on trying to outdo each other and be the first to win. That was what got a few eliminated.

The challenges kept going until it was down to three, you, Karl, and Chandler.

"The second to last challenge is coconut bowling!" Jimmy announced.

There were bowling pins set up in the sand with sticks to mark the barriers. The bowling ball was substituted with a fake coconut painted gold that had been used in previous challenges.

"Ladies first," Jimmy handed you the coconut.

You lined up the plastic coconut the best you could with the pins. With one swift toss, the gold coconut was sent down along the sand. You managed to knock down five of the pins. Chandler patted you on the back. You were just hoping one of them would knock down less than you. Chandler stepped up to the makeshift bowling alley and effortlessly made a strike. Now it was Karl's turn. He stepped up and rolled the coconut in the sand. Karl managed to knock down nine of the bowling pins, nearly getting a strike like Chandler. You had knocked down the least meaning you were eliminated from the competition. It was down to Chandler and Karl.

"I kind of feel bad," Karl said as you walked down the bridge to exit the island.

You noticed Chandler give him a look you had never seen before.

"What?" Karl asked.

He didn't say anything.

For the last challenge, Jimmy decided to bring everyone back and have them vote who would win the island. Chandler and Karl had to give reasons as to why they deserved it over the other.

"That's not fair! Chandler is dating one of the judges!" Karl whined.

"Better make a good statement then," Jimmy shrugged.

Chandler went first. He didn't exactly give a speech. Instead, he did what could barely be considered a magic trick with his hands. Karl decided he would just try to fortnite dance his way to victory. After that, everyone had to vote on who they wanted to leave the island. You figured everyone would vote Karl off the island based off how things were going and previous challenges in the day, so you wrote Chandler's name down. Plus, you thought it would be a funny bit for the video.

"Four votes Chandler... Four votes Karl. I didn't have a backup plan so I'm going to put all the votes back in and the name pulled wins!" Jimmy announced.

Everyone sat in silence waiting for the name to be revealed.

Chandler

Chandler ran over to you and hugged you before proceeding to run around. Karl collapsed in the sand out of defeat. You went over and patted Karl on the shoulder.

"Maybe next time," You laughed.

"You know, technically you won it too," He said.

You rolled your eyes and helped him off the sand.

The competition video for the island went up after a few days. You were scrolling through the comments of the video to checkout the feedback. You really enjoyed being apart of that video in particular, so you were curious about what the viewers thought. What you read was not what you were expecting.

"Does anyone else ship y/n and Karl?"
"Karl was being so sweet to y/n this vid"
"y did chanchan look so angry the whole time"
"ship name for y/n and Karl???"

This confused you, but you did know one thing for sure and that was how upset Chandler would be.

Thank you for all the suggestions and ideas for this chapter.
I'd like to thank everyone for being so kind even with the slow updates.
I underestimated how hard this year in college would be especially since it has been switched to online.
It doesn't help that I've had some medical issues pop up that have hindered me from that as well.
Thank you for reading :)
