Opportunity || Chandler Hallow

Chapter Six

You headed up to the warehouse. Jimmy left earlier since he had business calls concerning sponsorships that he had to be present for. You arrived at the warehouse where most of the team was getting supplies together for the following day. There was a running joke about how Chris was a Boy Scout, so Jimmy thought it would be a fun video to have people compete for badges.

"Hey y/n, can we talk?," Chandler walked over to you.

"Yeah, of course," You looked up at him.

"So about when we-,"

"Can Chandler and y/n report to Jimmy's office," Chris came in the warehouse projecting his voice through a megaphone.

Chandler sighed and you followed him out to Jimmy's office. Jimmy was at one of the desks setup for videos.

"One of our editors found some... interesting footage from the hide and seek video," Jimmy did his laugh when he teased.

"Please don't put that in the video," Chandler sighed.

"You know me better than that," Jimmy sighed.

"Didn't know you had it in you bud," Chris laughed.

"You guys are a mess," You rolled your eyes.

You went back to the warehouse to finish helping the rest of the crew get supplies and get all the cameras ready. Whenever Chandler came up to talk to you, he never continued the conversation from before Chris interrupted.

The next day, everyone got together at an actual Boy Scout camp where people would be competing for badges on the different obstacle courses. Whoever had the most badges at the end of the day received $20,000.

You finished setting up the cameras for the first bit. Then you noticed Chandler in his Boy Scout uniform that the competitors had to wear. You tried to hold in a giggle but it slipped out.

"Is it that bad?" He looked at you.

"No, it's cute," You were laughing at that point.

The filming was over for the day and Chris ended up winning the most badges out of everyone. Were we really surprised though?

"Do you want to go get pizza with me? I'm hungry," Chandler asked as you were loading equipment in the car.

"Pizza sounds amazing. Let me just let Jimmy know so he's not waiting on me in the car," You smiled.

Chandler drove you to a local pizza parlor. He insisted on paying for the both of you no matter what you had to say. You were enjoying your time with Chandler. He kept cracking jokes and just saying things to make you laugh.

You two stayed there until the restaurant was close to closing. He drove you back to Jimmy's. He leaned over to the passenger side and gave you a hug goodbye. You gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you for today," You got out and headed inside.

You stood there behind the front door for a minute. It all felt like a cliche movie. Or at least a dream.
