2. Resident Evil: Original Apocalypse

Chapter 6

No One POV:

Dr. Ashford kept searching for more people alive and it led him to the Ravens Gate Church. He clicked on the camera and it showed cars on fire and litter. He moved it to the side and saw Peyton,Jill, and Terri walking on the sidewalk. Jill is helping Peyton walk ," inside," and moved him towards the church door.

Peyton opened the door slowly and walked in on guard his gun raised. Terri walked in then Jill did behind her with her gun raised also. They walked towards the pews when a voice startled them, " you have to get out!" They all jumped and turned around quickly with Jill pointing her gun at the man who had a gun pointed at them.

"This is my place. I'm hiding here!" He told them franticly. "I think it's big enough for all of us," Terri told him gesturing around the big church. He pointed the gun at her and scowled, " don't tell m-."
"Okay just cool it!" Peyton yelled at him a little cutting the man off.

The man pointed his gun at him now with a crazy look in his eyes. "Put the gun down. Put. The. Gun. Down," Peyton told him firmly. The man slowly put it down. Peyton turned to Terri, "and you take it easy."

"So does the Raccoon City Police department have any comment on what those things are?" Terri questioned while pointing her camera at Jill who is putting a cigarette in her mouth. Jill didn't answer and lit her cigarette. Peyton looked at Terri, "what's that you got there?"

She turned to him and held up her camera, "my Emmy that's if we make it out of here," she smiled sarcastically at him. All of a sudden they all hear a door open then close making everyone be on alert. Jill looked at Peyton and he nodded at her making her pull out her gun and go check it out.

Jill walked slowly down a hall gun raised stopping when she heard a noise and turned to look but nothing was there. So she turned back and continued walking down the hall. She found a door at the end of the hall and opened it slowly walking in seeing a woman in a chair.

"Are you okay?" She asked walking slowly towards her. The woman never answered her so Jill kept walking to her. "What are you doing?" A voice asked her making her crouch a little and pointed her gun at the person. The voice belonged to a pastor.

"What's wrong," she asked gesturing to the woman with her head. The pastor looked towards the woman then back to Jill and tried to give her a smile but it came out as a grimace. He moved towards the woman, "I-it's my sister. She's not well," he said while walking backwards keeping Jill in his line of vision.

"Maybe I can help?" Jill offered. "N-," he started to say but got cut off by the woman's growl. Jill pushed him, "out of my way!"and moved in front of the woman stopping short looking at her in shock.

"Just get out!" The pastor yelled at her. The zombie woman was strapped to the chair by her arms. Jill backed away in disgust bumping into a dead body on the floor. The zombie woman snarled at her trying to lunge but couldn't.

Jill looked at the man in disgust, "your feeding her. You're sick." The zombie started to get more violent and snarled out crazily. "Just leave us alone," he told her then the zombie broke the chairs arm off making Jill point her gun at it.

"No!" The pastor yelled out grabbing Jill's hand making her push him off right into the zombies grasp. The zombie bit into his neck making him scream out.

Gunshots were heard by the others that were on the pews. It made them jump up on alert. The man grabbed his gun ready. "I'm getting out of here!" Terri said heading to the doors. "Hey wait! Hey no!" Peyton yelled running after her.

       She opened the door and gasped at seeing a bunch of zombies at the door. She screamed out and tried shutting the door but the zombies pushed against it. Peyton hurried over to help her. They finally got it to close and leaned against it when the zombies kept pushing on it.

      "Hey help us! Come on!" Peyton yelled to the man. He grabbed a thick crucifix and ran to them, putting it through the handles. They backed away from the door hearing the zombies pound on it. Suddenly something crawls across the ceiling fast with a growl making them look up alarmed.

     "What the hell is that?" The man frantically asked. Peyton pointed his gun and flashlight up to see better in the dark. The monster ran across again going to a different corner, they pointed their guns that way. While the men pointed their guns, Terri pointed her camera.

     She looked around and pointed," there!" They all turned to see it on the wall then it ran away. "Jesus," the man said then he ran away from the others. "What the fuck is that thing," Terri asked backing up next to Peyton. "Hey what are doing? Aye get back here!" Peyton lowly yelled at the man who ignored him and kept running away from them.

      He ran down a hall and into another room with more pews. He had his gun raised slowly turning around looking everywhere. What he didn't know was that the monster is watching every move he made. It hit a ceiling light making it squeak a little making the man jump whimpering and turn around pointing his gun at the light.

      The monster knocked over a holy water bowl making the man turn to it quickly. The man looked up looking everywhere at the ceiling. He didn't notice a long tongue going around his neck until he turned around seeing a licker. He gasped, it snarled and attacked him.
