2. Resident Evil: Original Apocalypse

Chapter 13

No One POV:

      They walked out of the plane seeing the others on their knees hand cuffed. Umbrella soldiers are everywhere watching the perimeter.

     "Angie," Dr. Ashford said opening his arms for her. The blonde man let go of her. "Daddy!" Angie ran to her dad giving him a hug.

    "I knew you wouldn't leave me," Angie told her dad. He pulled back shaking his head, "no, never,never." The blonde man  and looked at Nemesis," discard primary weaponry."

    Nemesis put down his gun and rocket launcher. The soldiers took Alice and Hope's guns. Hope growled at the soldier who palmed her butt when he was getting her gun.

    He just chuckled at her. Hope glowed her eyes at him and growled louder. She heard him gulp then saw he stepped back from her in fear. She smirked at him.

   Hope turned back when she heard the man talking to her mom. The man looked between Alice and Hope. "Your like brother and sister's. Heightened speed, strength, agility, the same killer instincts. Parallel strands of research. And now. Now we'll discover which is superior."

    He looked at Alice, "fight him." Alice looked him dead in the eye, "No." He clenched his jaw in anger. "Fight him or they die." Alice looked at the others.

   "What makes you think I care?" He looks at her then shrugs. He turns and shoots Dr. Ashford. Alice and Hope gasped. "Daddy! Daddy, no. No," Angie cried for her dad.

"He was a valuable asset to the corporation. I don't even care about these people." He saw her struggling to decide so he aimed his gun at Hope's head. "Fight him or I'll kill your daughter," he smirked at the panic in her eyes.

Alice looked at her daughter's scared face then to Angie's tear stained face. She looked at the man and nodded. He smiled and put down his gun, "great. Begin."

Alice looked at Hope one last time. Hope gave her a small encouraging smile. Alice nodded, turning and began fighting Nemesis. The soldiers pushed Hope to the others.

They all continued watching the fight. Hope took a step forward going to join the fight when she saw her mom get thrown on the floor. A soldier kicked the back of her knee hard making her grunt falling to her hands and knees.

She sat up on her knees and glared hatefully at him. Hope heard sniffling and turned to the side seeing Angie wiping her tears. She frowned sadly and wrapped an arm around her pulling Angie to her.

    They wrapped their arms around each other. Angie started crying burying her head into Hope's chest. Hope ran her hand up and down her back, "I'm sorry Angie. I'm so sorry."

    Hope pulled back and wiped Angie's tears. "Hey, you will always have me and the others, no matter what. I'm not gonna leave you." Angie stared at her looking for any lies.

     When Angie didn't find any, she nodded and held up her pinkie between them. Hope smiled softly at her despite the situation and wrapped her own around Angie's.

    They both turned to watch the fight. Hope heard her mom cry slightly seeing her weakly punching Nemesis. Alice stepped back starring wet eyed at Nemesis, "I'm sorry. Oh, Matt, I'm so sorry."

    Hope's eyes widened in shock, "Matt," she whispered. She stared at him. "Finish him." A soldier grabbed Angie from Hope and moved away gun pointed at her. Hope glared at the soldier.

    The man moved closer to Alice and Nemesis, "I said finish him." Alice shook her head, "no." She turned around facing the man and shook her head again, "no."
