Behind every picture

Chapter 2

        "I miss you alot". A drunkNolan said as he stood in front of Laura's picture. He took the picture off the wall and held it to his heart. He suddenly got angry recalling the past. He went over to the mirror, looked at himself and broke the mirror  into pieces. He couldn't handle the pains in his heart, he just needed someone to vent his anger on, someone who will undersand him and obviously it can't be Nathan, he's too childish and only want to enjoy life. Nolan broke down and started crying.
    "Nolan"! Mr. Clark exclaimed as he burst the door open. "You are doing this again? Have you ever wonder what I go  through when you do this? Oh how can you think of me when all you do is get yourself drunk after school and then grieve over them." Mr. Clark said pointing over to the pictures all over the room. " You know I it's high time you stop this nonsense and move on with your life". Mr. Clark said as he glanced at his son and walked out.

                  ****Next morning ****

      Nolan woke up the next morning with a strong headach.
  "Aw, my head hurts."Nolan groaned.He opened up his eyes widely  after realizing what happened last night. "Oh gosh there comes another drama today ".
  He did his work out and then headed to his dad's room. He knocked and went in.
   "Am happy you know we need to talk". Mr. Clark  said as he close up his laptop.
     "Yeah I should know that by now, this always happen". Nolan replied looking away.
"You don't have to talk to me every morning you know?  but you have to stop getting drunk to avoid this conversation. "
  " Look dad, I know what you want to say." Nolan said frowning.
    "If  You know it then you won't repeat the same thing over and over again Nolan."
      "I'm  not like you dad, I can't just get over them. Besides you have a replacement for mom even before she died".
     "Replacement? What are you saying? And listen, this is about you and not me".
   "Whatever". Nolan said looking away.
    "I've made my deci....... "Mr.Clark  Continued until Nolan interrupted.
  "Sion to take your credit card away so you won't buy alcohol anymore. Isn't that what you wanted to say dad?  Nolan interjected looking at his dad.
        "Well no, not this time".His father continue.  "I'm going to hire someone who will be looking after you and not allow you to drink alcohol."
        " Are you joking"? Nolan asked.
   "No,  am serious. " Mr. Clark answered.

"I need some fucking  plan to teach that rich brat a lesson"! Diana exclaimed. She closed her eyes tightly and bit her lips and suddenly the door opened.
     " Diana! Here you are, I looked all over for you".Ethan  Diana's little cousin said. Ethan is Mrs. Scott son.
      " why do you have to interrupt me now? Am busy."
     "So now you are busy? Fine then, when you come running to me to help you with some kind of plan, I will be busy as well. "Ethan shrugged as he replied raising his brow.
       " C'mon Ethan , wait how do you know I need a plan? I don't remember me telling you. "
       "When I came in,  you were closing your eyes and you were also biting your lips and that can only mean my Diana needs some plan! Because that's what you do when you need a plan". Ethan said folding his arm.
      "C'mon Ethan, leave now and-"
  "wait, wait, wait". Ethan said raising his hands." Before you send me away, I just want to let you know that I can help you with your plan."
   
I could see how desperate Ethan was, so I decided to tell him.

     "Fine".  I replied giving up. Since you really want to know I want then......

   "Yes,  just say already!" Ethan Shouted.
       
      "I need some fucking   god damn plan to teach Mr. Arrogant a lessons."I  finally let it out with a sigh.

           "Mr. Arrogant?"  Ethan asked totally looking confused.

       "Well yeah, I mean Nolan."

     "Nolan? Isn't that the same guy Cassie has a crush on? "

    " Yes, but... How do you know that?"

    "Obviously anyone will know she has a crush on him big time. She can't even say anything without adding him to the conversation." Ethan said rolling his eyes in disgust.

"Oh yeah that explains it". I nodded
in agreement with his words. "But I still wanna know how you  found out.  Because the last time I checked, Cassie and I have never discussed our matters in front of you. We always go upstairs to my room to say whatever we've got to say." I stared  at him waiting for him to defend himself.
  
    He looked at me and said "sorry I might have been eavesdropping on you guys".

"You  might have or you have been eavesdropping? "

"Sorry, l've been eavesdropping". He said looking down. "But I only did that because I kind of like Cassie. " As if he realized what he has just said, he looked up at me with his widely open.

   "  What? Wait what did you say?" I asked not willing to believe my ears.

  "You heard right Diana. And that's why I will be willing to give up everything to separate them."

"You can't be serious Ethan". I said as I burst out in laughter.

     "Well maybe I am". He replied raising one of his brow clearly showing he's irritated with me laughing at him.

   "C'mon Ethan, she's like five years other than you. I mean you are just thirteen and she eighteen."

    "If you are thinking like that then you're probably the only one who hasn't heard people say -AGE IS JUST A  NUMBER ".

   "Am I suppose to give up on this matter"? I asked knowing he will say yes.

      " Yep"! He replied with a relieve that clearly shows he's happy that I'm letting go of the matter. At least for now.

  " Aw"! I suddenly heard a voice said from my window. A voice that even in my sleep I will know it's him. I turned around touching my head with with my hand as I murmur" Shawn".

   "Hey"! He replied giving a side smile as He threw up some apple drink at me.

      I gasp as I caught the drink and I frowned at him. "Shawn how many do I have to tell not come in through my window? For goodness sake! Our house as got a door. "

       "Sorry." He replied winking at me as he sucks his drink.

     I rolled my eyes and then I started my own drink.

       "So what's up?" Shawn asked looking at me.

    " No...thing". I replied remembering what plan I still have to make about Mr. Arrogant.

   "Nothing?" He asked focusing his attention on me.

    "I know I can't keep anything from you , so I won't bother trying to keep this from you".

    "O.. Kay?" He replied nodding as he threw his can away.

"  I want to teach Mr. Arrogant a lesson. "

     For some reason, Shawn coughed. "Are you ok? " I asked offering him water.

   "Are you mad?" He asked." Well maybe I wouldn't have asked if maybe you are not talking about Nolan."

   "C'mon now Shawn he threw that money at me and you just want me to  let it go?" I replied  shrugging indicating that I won't give it up.

    "And Cassie?" He asked thinking that would change my mind.

    "Well, it's not as if  am planning on killing him. "

  "Fine then, suit yourself. " Shawn replied moving over to my bed and laying down.

       "Shawn!" I exclaimed suddenly." I think I might have just figure out a perfect plan". I said smiling like those villan in movies.
