Chapter 3

     I was fast asleep on my bed when my phone buzzed. I groaned and unlocked it only to find  a message from Shawn. I sigh as i read  -
   R u asleep?
I frowned and texted back -

    I guess your watch has stopped right. Who wouldn't be asleep now, this's like past mid night
 

  I waited for his message because now that he has woken me up, I know  it will be no use trying to sleep back.
     I couldn't sleep and u r d  only one who my mind can't get off.
   I was... I was... Let say shocked to see that, so I read it over and over again to make sure that i'm not mistaken. Then when I'm  sure I wasn't mistaken, I decided to text back.
        Huh... do u know how that sound?
  And like two seconds later, I guess he realized how it sounds and he texted back.
    Oh sorry, I meant  I couldn't get u out of my head.
  I guess I was wrong, because he obviously does not realize how it sound. So I texted back-
       R u sure u don't wanna sleep now?
     No. He replied. So Wat's up with your plan for Nolan? Do u maybe wanna tell me about it?
 
I wouldn't want to do that now, i'll make it a surprise for tomorrow. I replied.

Whatever you do, make sure u don't  get yourself in trouble. U know his dad owns the school.

     Yeah I get. I replied rolling my eyes  as if he can see me. So can we talk about something else?

If you've got anything then bring it on. He replied.

Promise no matter what, u r not going to tease Ethan with this. I texted.

Wat and why I would I tease him anyway. 

U may be tempted to after I told you, so promise. I replied.

Fine, I promise.

Okay, Ethan has a crush on Cassie.

What! R u kidding me? So u don't know until now?  it's obvious he do. Well I mean he his trying to be his best around her. He texted back.

Wait, u knew all this while? I replied.

Yes, since like forever. He replied.

How am I suppose to know that? Is not as if I pay attention to those things. I replied.

So u r telling me if a guy likes u, u won't even notice not to talk of knowing. He asked.

Yeah, how would I know, is not as if i'm living in their mind. I replied.

Why did u say  "do I realize how it sounds ", when I first texted  u. He replied.

I said that because its sounds odd and why do u ask? Is not as if you  realized how it sound. I texted back.

I do know  how it sounds. Like am thinking  about you?  Or maybe I have a crush on you?

So u knew how it sound. And even if every guy likes me, I know u r not part. You've got a great girlfriend and i appreciate our friendship alot. I replied. 

Yeah I know. And don't drag Sophy into this.
