Welcome to chapter two! I've conversed with a really good friend of mine and we brainstormed some really great ideas for this story! One thing you have to keep in mind is that you have to imagine this story as you read, it'll make more sense. Other than that, feel free to comment and vote! Thank you!

Y/n's eyes opened as she sat from her bed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. She then swung her legs out of her bed as she stretched and stood up. She went about getting dressed as she looked around her room, confused that she didn't see her backpack.
She walked out of her bedroom as she walked into the kitchen where her mother sat at the table, drinking a cup of coffee. "Mom?"
Her mother stiffened at her voice as she turned to her.
"Y-Yes?" she asked.
"Have you seen my backpack? I can't find it anywhere." Y/n said.
"I haven't. Just use your spare one in your closet." she replied.
Y/n nodded as she went back into her room and went into her closet, finding her spare backpack easily. She put all of her school materials into the bag before slinging the bag over her shoulders as she left the room.
She walked into the kitchen once more as she went into the pantry and grabbed a breakfast bar, her mother never taking her eyes off of her.
Y/n turned and caught sight of her mother's stare as she looked at her strangely. "Is something wrong?" she asked.
Her mother sighed as she took a sip from her coffee. "Nothing, sweetheart. Have a good day at school." was all her mother said before she got up with her coffee mug and walked to her bedroom.
Y/n watched her retreating figure with concern. In Y/n's mind, she thought something was wrong with her mother. She had never seen her so sluggish and out of character.
Y/n sighed before walking towards her father's study. The knocked on the door lightly before opening it.
She peaked her head in and saw Joseph and Marco conversing. They both turned to her as she spoke.
"I'll be going now." she said.
"Have a good day, Y/n." her father said.
She nodded as she closed the door and made her way outside, grabbing her car keys that were on a key rack by the door. She got into her car as she put her keys in the ignition, her car roaring to life.
She smiled as she reversed her way out of her driveway, turning on her radio as an upbeat song came on. She tapped her fingers to the rhythm as the drive to her school was uneventful.
Parking her car in the student parking lot, she grabbed her backpack from the passengers seat as she got out and locked her car, putting keys in her bag. Turning to her school, she took a deep breath as she made her way into the building.
As she walked through the halls towards her locker, she felt the stares of some people she wasn't very well acquainted with. It made her slightly uneasy as she tried to ignore their stares.
Reaching her locker, she put in her combination as it opened. She took off her backpack as she took out some unnecessary books and put them in there before closing it.
