Season 2 Chapter 6

Jennie POV

    The car pulled up in front of Y/n's home. I took a deep breath and looked down at the USB that was in my hand. I know he'll probably be upset, but I have to be honest with him.

    "You ready, Jennie?" Rosie asked.

    "Yeah. Let's go. You guys will love Chunhei. She's just the cutest." I said with a smile.

    We hopped out of the car and made our way to the front door. I didn't knock, I just reached for the pad to unlock the door. I wish I had knocked though after they noticed.

    "Oh, Ms. Jennie already knows his password?" Lisa teased.

    "Is there more going on here than we know?" Jisoo added with a giggle.

    "Oh my god, shut up." I giggled and rolled my eyes. "We're just good friends! That's all."

    The door opened and I could see Y/n and Chunhei sitting at the table.

    "Unnie!" Chunhei jumped up and gave me a hug.

    "Hey, Chuchu." I giggled and hugged her back as the other three came in from behind me.

    Chunhei's face grew more and more excited when she noticed.

    "Jisoo! Rosie! Lisa!" She said excitedly. "Can I hug you guys?!"

    "Of course!" Rosie said with open arms.

    I watched as Chunhei hugged each of the other members and talked. It was almost like the night that she met me. Still cute. I turned to look at Y/n and tilted my head to the living room. He got the message and we both made our way there. We sat down on the couch and I pulled out his USB.

    "Um... here, I accidentally picked this up when I left yesterday," I said with shame in my voice. "I have to make a confession though..."

    "I was looking for that!" He said, sounding relieved. "But what do you need to confess?"

    "Well, I kind of listened to the instrumentals that you had on it... and I showed the other girls and Hwang," I said, my eyes glued to the floor.

    "Why would you do that?" He asked, the hurt in his voice really hit me.

    "I'm sorry. I didn't recognize the USB, so I figured I would look to see if there was any information on the drive so I could return it. I found the file... but I also saw all the MP3 files. I couldn't help it. I was really curious." I explained as I played with my thumbs. "I saw in the note file that you had emails of different companies and YGE was on the list, so I thought that you wanted to try out for a position. That's why I showed her. I also hoped that maybe we could use one of your instrumentals. That way you could get a nice pay and have a better job."

    "I guess I can't fault you for being curious, and you didn't take it on purpose." He said with a sigh. "I left it on the table about where you laid your bag and jacket. But why would you show your CEO without at least asking me first?"

    "I'm sorry... I thought you would have been in bed and I didn't want to wake you up. So, I set up an appointment through my manager before I went to bed and he had to set it up for me super early. The first moment I had any free time was when I let you know I was on my way to see you and give it back."

    "Well, going by what the fact you didn't say anything I assume nothing came of it, so no use in making it a topic anymore." He said flatly.

    "You say it like you knew what would happen." The words and realization came out of my mouth at the same time.
