and so, mine and Noah's secret sneaking out continued for several months. no one had noticed a thing. nothing changed in the house, except Jaden decided to move to Josh's bedroom.

me, Nessa, Mads, Charli, Avani, Dixie and Addison became very close friends. we hung out a lot in our free time.

over the past few months, me and Noah have grown closer than expected. i didn't know what i was feeling for him. it was like i love him, but i didn't know if i should love him.

and that brings us here, me laying down on my bed.

i kept getting notifications, but i brushed it off, thinking it was just from my socials.

the dinging didn't stop though, so i picked my phone up and noticed the 13 unread messages i had.

i got up from my bed and took a cold shower.

after showering, i didn't think to really dress up, so i put on a hoodie and sweats. i mean i'm only going to Avani's, not a fancy date.

i walked downstairs, the boys were sitting on the couch, watching tv.

"whoa, where are you going?" Bryce asked, looking at me from the couch.

"Avani's" i said and walked out.

i didn't even bother to talk to any of them. i called an uber, and drove to Avani's.

the door opened and a happy Avani stood on the other side - "hey Bella! i missed you so much, oh god"

we embraced each other in a hug and went upstairs to her bedroom. none of her family members were home, so it was safe to talk about anything with her.

Avani has become like a sister to me, i felt like i could trust her with anything.

"so are you gonna tell me what's going on with you and Noah?" she asked.

i sighed, now knowing where to start.

"well, uh.." i started "we've been sneaking out of the house and going on secret "dates"" i quoted the word dates.

i didn't really know what to call it. they weren't really dates but in a way they were.

"wait what? you didn't even think to tell me?!" Avani asked, with shock and excitement laced in her voice.

"i don't know! i wasn't really thinking about it" i laughed.

"how about we film a tik tok?" she asked, opening the app on her phone.

"sure!" i smiled and we set up her phone on a tripod.

we filmed a few dances, lip synced to a few sounds and duetted a few fans.

after a while, we decided that we should go on a mini shopping spree. we ubered to a mall, since there are a lot of those in LA, and went to a few shops.

we went out of the mall, our hands full of shopping bags.

"i thought you said "mini shopping spree"" i said, quoting the words "mini shopping spree".

"girl, this was a mini shopping spree!" Avani giggled.

"right.."

we suddenly were approached by paparazzi.

dang it

"hey Avani, Bella" the Hollywood Fix guy greeted us.

he started asking a few questions to us, which we obviously answered, until he asked me one specific question - "so how's Noah doing?"

"i don't.. i don't really want to talk about it" i answered shyly.

"tHe FaNs wAnNa KnOw" he said his so called iconic line.

(a/n: i'm sorry, i fucking had to)

i gave in and answered his question - "me and Noah are just close friends"

"you sure? we've seen pictures of you guys holding hands" the guy said.

how the hell-

"we were just walking. they must've took the picture when our arms were in the same position. i'm sure you know how walking works" i explained, partly lying.

"alright, alright. thank you girls" he said before continuing "have a good day"

"thank you" "you too" - we both said and both called different ubers to go home.
