| I N T R O D U C T I O N |

this section of poems contains joy and love. it shows the hopeful and brighter side of my thoughts. i do not express these emotions often in my poems/writings but whenever i do, i feel so relieved and safe. i hope i can make my readers feel the same way when they read it. this is all about learning the lessons of life but enjoying the process as well. this shows my gratitude to the people i love, to the readers who always encourage me and to life that taught me so much. you may not feel this way every single day and every single moment in your life, because even i do not feel that way, and on such days, i hope you remember these or the feeling these words gave you. sometimes, when i am lost and the world feels too cruel, these words remind me how i once made someone feel good and that's why this is such a special part for me. i hope i will learn to live, laugh and love with you.

you are not a weight,
or the color of your hair.
you are not your name,
or the dimples in your cheeks.
you are all the books you read,
and all the words you speak.
you are your croaky morning voice,
and the smiles you try to hide.
you're the sweetness in your laughter,
and every tear you've cried.
you're the songs you sing so loudly
when you know you're all alone.
you're the places that you've been to,
and the one that you call home.
you're the things that you believe in,
and the people whom you love.
you're the photos in your bedroom,
and the future you dream of.
you're made of so much beauty,
but it seems that you forgot
when you decided that you were defined
by all the things you're not.
