Taylor's POV.
The doctor had examined Karlie; who had pretty much come around straightaway after fainting. He came to speak to me when Karlie was out of eavesdropping way. "Karlie has Gestational Diabetes. It's common in any woman's pregnancy, although Karlie has gotten it earlier than some other women get it. She will need to stick to a diabetes diet until the end of her pregnancy. But other than that she and the baby are fine, take care of her." the doctor excused himself and left. My mom thanking him, showing him to the door. I walked over to Karlie who was sat on the couch next to Austin, how things had changed since we had arrived at my parents. Karlie looked up at me as I approached, and opened her mouth to speak.

"Hey don't worry it wasn't your fault, look I am sending you back to the house with my driver and a security guard. I will be back home after I've spoken to my family. I want you in bed snuggled up watching a movie for when I get back." A matter of factly type tone droned out of my mouth like it was a natural thing for me to do. Karlie's eyes pierced into my skin, and she shook her head at me, "I have a show to do next week, with you there by my side performing. You can't wrap me in bubble wrap just because of a condition caused by pregnancy." I could pretty much tell she was pissed off at me, when my mom stepped into the lounge. "She's right you know, if you want a relationship you can't always be over protective of her. Despite your reasons, which I fully understand."

What the heck was happening had all my family developed some personality disorder that I didn't know about? One minute they want me to be happy, the next they don't. It's like they're yo-yoing between what they think. I couldn't listen to this. I left the room quickly and knocked on the door to my dads study, surprised he hadn't come out during all the commotion. "Come in." my fathers sweet tone came from the room behind the door.

I walked into the vintage study; I had decorated it and designed the interior myself for a Christmas surprise a few years back. Dad turned in his chair and smiled his warm smile at me. "What can I do for you today, Miss Taylor?" love echoed from every word he spoke. I sighed and sat on the brown old couch that was resting against the only free wall in the study. "I wanted to speak to you, because you give the best advice. But I don't even know where to begin." I placed my head in my bandaged hands and tried my best to hold it together. It seemed like the worse things just kept being thrown at mine and Karlie's relationship and I had no clue to fix things. How can I look after her and a baby when I can't even look after myself?

My dad sat next to me and patted his legs motioning for me to lay my head on his knees, like I used to do when I was younger and upset over the bullying at school. Or the hate I got from media for my relationships. I laid my head down, and looked up at him. "Tell me everything, from the start. I'm not going anywhere till we fix this Miss Taylor."

Karlie's POV.
Taylor had stormed off to her dads study almost a hour ago. I was starting to feel awkward, for the past hour Andrea and Austin had been trying to make small talk with me but it was failing dreadfully. We had been sat in this awkward silence for a while now.

A car horn from outside broke the silence. I got up quickly, "I will go check what that is, excuse me Mrs Swift, Austin." I don't think they were fooled by my politeness. Taylor's driver was parked up on the drive way next to Taylor's car. She hadn't cancelled the driver? Thank God, right now I couldn't be more thankful for that. I made my way back to the lounge, where Austin and Andrea had broken the silence that was filling the room just moments ago. Austin turned to see me stood in the doorway. "Everything okay?" he asked, not really caring from his body language. I smiled my best fake smile, "Taylor's driver is here for me, I'm exhausted so I'm going to get going. Thank you for everything you've done. I'll hopefully see you both again soon." With that off I went to get in the car; looking forward to getting in bed with the needy cats cuddling up next to me.
