I had phoned Ellie for directions to hers after getting lost several times. Why couldn't London be easier to get around? I think Ellie could tell I was upset because she was worrying about me driving this late at night. After all it was nearly midnight by now.

I buzzed up to her apartment and once I was buzzed in I took the stairs up to her level, not bothering with the lift. I knocked on her door, taking my glasses off to wipe my eyes and face with my jacket sleeves quickly so she didn't have to see me a mess. Even though she had seen me at my worst in the past, I just didn't want to be seen like this, she was one of my best friends and I loved her like she was my big sister and she treat me like a little sister too.

The door opened and two arms wrapped around me tightly, cradling me. "Taylor, babe come on, lets get you inside and you can tell me what's happened over some tea. Tea fixes everything." I let out a small laugh because it was typical Ellie and her british ways that always made me smile. I walked over to her couch waiting for her to come back into her living room.

Ellie came in carrying two cups of tea, and placed herself next to me as she passed me a cup. "So, Tay you going to tell me what's happened and why your face is covered in mascara. Do I have to hurt someone for upsetting my best friend?" I looked at her and placed my cup down and broke down while explaining everything while she hugged me. Her boyfriend walked out of her bedroom about to say something to her, until he saw the state we were both in and he went back into the bedroom without saying a word.

Ellie held me tighter for a moment until she let go and stood up. "Taylor Alison Swift, you can stop moping right now. That bastard is going to get what's coming to him, we have to focus on Karlie. When do you have to be back in the US?" her sweet voice was filled with anger at what I had been through today. I shrugged, I honestly didn't know when I had to go back home or when I had to go back to work. Tree had betrayed me, it was her fault Karlie was in hospital and now I didn't even want to focus on my career right now I just wanted Karlie.

I pinched my nose tight to stop the headache from crying getting worse "I honestly don't know. Tree made this happen, I know I don't actually officially have work till the first week of December. I don't suppose you'd be an awesome best friend and let me stay till then?" I begged a little too much. I already knew Ellie loved having me around she went to several of my concerts at the RED tour even the ones where she wasn't my special guest just so she could hang with me.

"Oh my God did you need to ask? Obviously you can stay, I will set up the guest room. First thing in the morning we'll go and see Karlie and see what we can find out okay? Just try not to worry." She gave me another hug and left to set up the guest room. I must have fallen to sleep on the couch because I woke up to Ellie's voice telling me to go to bed. I made my way to the guest room after I thanked her once more for letting me stay. I didn't bother getting changed out of my tear stained clothes I just climbed into the small double bed and pulled the covers over my head and sobbed, hoping the couple in the next room couldn't hear my muffled cries.

A/N - I know the previous three chapters are better than this but I wrote this when I was half asleep.
