Part 4: Initiation Night

We snuck into the party , we went through the bushes. For some reason we didn't go through the front door like normal people but i'm not complaining.

"Woah my first college party." I say to Fat Amy. "Not just any college party , this is Acapella only. So be prepared to meet some very sexually confused people. " Fat Amy tells me and runs off to some campus police officer.

Then the boy i met earlier , Benji , comes up to me. "Hi.. umm... would .. umm ... you ... movies?" He tells me. "Are you asking me out?" I ask. "uh... Yes. " He tells me shyly. "Oh aww , that's so sweet. But it's my first day. " I tell him with a laugh. He get out a smoke bomb and throws it to the floor to make him "disappear" but it doesn't work. It goes up my nose and makes me cough.

I start dancing with Chloe and Stacie. "You bumped into me earlier right emily?" Stacie asks me with a little giggle. "Um.. Yeah. I'm sorry about that." I say embarrassed. "Oh sweetie don't worry about it !! We're sisters now so we're friends." She tells me with a smile. I smile back with my widest smile ever.

I start dancing. Until i see Beca Mitchell. The girl who singly created the Bella sound.

"Hi!!" I tell her excited. "Uh hi." She tells me confused. "It's so amazing to see the woman who singly creates the Bella sound. We're sisters!! I can believe we're sisters!!" I say with a smile. "Oh hi!! Chloe texted me saying we added a legacy. I didn't even know that was a thing!" She tells me with a laugh. "Yeah , i didn't either until my mom told me last year she was a bella. She claimed it to being 'the best moments of her life'.My makes Emily" I tell her. "Well Em , now that you're a bella, tell me about yourself !" She tells me while taking a sip from her cup. "Well i'm a freshman , i'm from Texas. I write songs when i'm stressed. I'm an only child. And that's pretty much it." I say while laughing. "Well Emily lets go party." She says while grabbing my wrist and dragging me to the dance floor.

-2 hours later-

I didn't drink a lot.. neither did Beca. Chloe was drunk. Fat Amy had disappeared. Stacie was off screwing some random guy. Jessica and Ashley were dancing with Flo. CR was hitting on some girl. Lily was in the pool swimming.

"Becaaaa... I'm so drunkkkkk" Chloe tells Beca. "Yes chloe i know." She says with a laugh. "Your so prettyyy" Chloe tells me. "Thank you Chloe." I say laughing. "Well come on pretty lady , let's get you home." Beca tells Chloe while putting Chloes arm around Beca to drag her out of there. "I think i'm gunna go with you guys if that's okay?" I ask. "Yeah of course Em." She tells me with a smile. I follow behind them.

I then realized i had a missed call and a new voicemail. So i listen to it ...

Austin General:
Hi Emily , i really don't know how to say this but there's been an accident with your parents. they might now make it. they're both on life support. call me back when you get the chance.

Once i heard the voicemail .. i bursted down crying falling to the floor. Sobbing.

Beca and Chloe turn around and see me on the floor crying. "Emily what happenedddd ?" Chloe asks me still drunk. Beca picks up and phone and hears the voicemail. She lets go of Chloe and goes into hug me. She picks me up to my feet while i'm still sobbing. I have no words. "My mom was my bestfriend. My dad was my bestfriend. I don't know what i'll do without them." I say sobbing in between words.

We get to the bella house and chloe drinks some water to try and get out of her drunk state. Beca was getting some ice cream and some tissues. I was sitting on the couch with a blanket over me staring at nothing. I was in shock.

Chloe comes down the stairs with a bun and some pjs on. She goes and sits down next to me. "Em , are you okay?" She asks me. "No .." I tell her with a tear falling down my face. She gives me a side hug and i just fall down onto her lap crying hard. She plays with my hair while i'm crying slowly calming me down. Beca comes back from the kitchen handing me a tissue. I take it and sit up. I try to stop crying. Beca sits down across from me. Chloe sitting right next to me. "I can't believe it." I say while looking at Beca. "There's still a chance emily." Chloe tells me. "Yeah but it's more than likely there not gunna make it." I say with a tear falling down my face. It was 12 am. "Do you wanna stay here tonight?" Beca s asks me. "Um yeah sure." I say while sniffling. Beca gives me a small smile and gets up to sit right next to me. She puts her arm around me and i lean in to lay on her shoulder. She rubs her hand on my arm. Chloe just looks at us and smiles.

Fat Amy, Flo , Lily , Stacie , and Jessica and Ashley come into the house yelling and screaming . We all look at them and they go silent. They see that i am crying and they all run towards me asking what's wrong. That just makes me sob even more. Beca mouths to them " Parents . Accident. Life support ." Their mouths drop and they get up to go change. Stacies staying behind. She bends down in front of me. "Hey em , i'm so sorry. But there's still a chance babe , so think positive okay ?" She tells me with a slight smile. I just nod and smile. She gets up from her knees while rubbing her hang on my knee. She walks up stairs.

I get up from the couch. " I think i'm gunna go to my dorm room." I tell Beca and Chloe. "Are you sure em?" Chloe asks me. "Yeah , i'll see y'all in the morning." I say while getting my things and walking out the door with a little wave.

But i don't actually go to my dorm , i go to my car and i start driving home . I know what i'm doing is right. My parents need me. I need to be there. I have my wallet and phone. Everything i need.
