Part 7: Getting the Gig

It's been 2 days , making today Saturday , since the riff off.It was a lazy day.

Beca was sitting in the kitchen in the kitchen  working on some mixes , Chloe was sitting next to her trying to get beca's attention , Amy was out getting a 'smoothie', Stacie , Flo , Lilly, and CR were watching a movie in the living room , Jessica and Ashley were doing Tiktoks in the backyard , and i was sitting on the table in the kitchen on my phone texting Benji.

"Becaaaa." Chloe wines the Beca. "What Chlo?" Beca says while still staying focused on her work. "Can you please pay attention to me?" Chloe says while laying her head down on the table. "Alright. Fine. What's up?" Beca says while turning to her girlfriend. "Can we please do something other than work." Chloe says while getting up. "I can't Chlo , I need to-" Beca says while looking at her compuster before getting cut off by chloe. " Finish your work which is more important than your girlfriend. Got it." Chloe says while getting up and walking to the living room. "Chloe." Beca says after her. Chloe just keeps walking. "Shit." Beca says while looking at me. I just look up from my phone dumbfounded. "What?" I say confused. "Nothing em." Beca says with a laugh. I get down from the table and get my cereal. But it was empty. "WHO ATE MY CERAL!!" I yell from the kitchen loud enough everyone was hear me. "AMY!!" Everyone says in unison. I groan. I get my keys and start walking towards the front door. "Anyone need anything?" I yell before opening the door. No one answers. "I take that as a no." I say with a giggle and walk out the door.

When i get to the grocery store i head straight to the cereal section. I get my signature cereal , Fruit Loops , and head to check out and that's when i see her.

Back at the bellas house ....

Beca finally finished her mix and head to the living room to see everyone watching a movie. She goes to sit next to Chloe. "Hey." Beca says. "Hey." Chloe replies. "I'm sorry about earlier." Beca says while looking at chloe. "It's okay becs." Chloe says while still looking at the tv. "No it's not. You're my girlfriend and you deserve so much more attention." Beca says while grabbing chloes chin to face her towards her. "Beca.. really it's okay." Chloe says with a giggle. Suddenly Chloes phone rings from a random number. "Sorry , i should probably take this." Chloe says while getting up.

She heads the the kitchen , Beca watching her with sadness in her eyes.

"Yes ! We would be happy too! Oh my god , thank you!" Chloe ends the call with a smile. She walks back to the living room and stands in front of the T.V. "Heyyy!!" Stacie says. "Move it red!" Cr complains. "In my country T.V was reserved for only the king." Flo randomly says. "I absorbed my twin in the womb." Lilly says quietly. "Get ready ladies because in 3 days we have a gig to perform at." Chloe says excitedly. Beca just stares at her in awe. "Okay great chloe but can we finish watching this movie." Stacie says while pointing at the T.V. "Oh right." She says as she sits next to beca and leans in on her chest. "I love you becs." Chloe says while looking at Beca. "I love you too chlo." Beca says while staring into her eyes.

And that's when i see her .. I see my roommate. My bestfriend. "MADDY!?" I yell excited. She turns around and smiles so wide. I run up to her to give her a hug. "What are you doing here?" I ask while pulling away. "I came to visit a family member." She says while smiling. "I missed you." I say. "I missed you. But i really need to get going. I'll text you?" She says while walking off. " Yeah oka-" I say as she walks out the door.

I give my cereal to the cashier and pay and head back to the bella house.

When i got there , everyone was asleep. It was 9pm. I just laughed at the view. "GUYS!!" I yell causing everyone to wake up. "What the fuck emily!" CR says. "Y'all we're asleep and i was getting bored." I say with a laugh. "It's okay sweetie. Just next time don't wake us up." Chloe says while getting up off the couch and walking towards me. She put her hands on my shoulders. She then realized she didn't wake up in Beca's arms. She lets go of my shoulders and turns around to see that Beca was gone. "Guys where did Beca go?" Chloe asks confused. "She prob went to get food or something." I say. "No it's not norma-" As soon as chloe said that Beca comes in from the front door carrying Chick-Fil-A takeout. Everyone just stares at beca. "What? A girl can't help out around here every once in a while?" Beca asks with a little laugh. Everyone just starts laughing.

We ate our chick-fil-a when chloe tells me about our performance we have on Tuesday. "Oh my stars! I'm finally gunna perform ?! YES!" I say excited. "Calm down em." Beca says with a laugh. "Sorry." I say while eating my food again
