VICTORIA's POV
"Cause baby you give love a bad name" Bon jovi's amazing voice burst out from my iPhone.Today is the last day of session break so basically my days of bliss are over.I started podering over how to spend my last day of bliss and guess what ?! being the smart kid I am I decide to sleep.How clever of me.'zzzz my iPhone vibrates.I notice that my best friend Meridith is calling.
"Heya Mer" I state enthusiastically.
"Hey to you Tori" She replies with with the same enthusiasm.
"I miss you girl" She continues.Meridith had gone to vist a relative of hers who lives in Malibu,so hola here I am stuck in isolation.Well not isolation exactly as I have many other friends but a bestie is irreplacable right ?
"I miss you too "I reply back.
"So ...How do you plan on spending the last day of vacays ?" she asks.
"You know the usual.Sleep,eat and repeat" I reply.
"Ahh whats wrong with you woman ?! Don't you wanna go shopping ?! High school-YEAR 12 starts from tomorrow !!!" She says,criticizing my wonderful schedule.
"Nope.Dont wanna go shopping" I reply knowing what she meant.Mer is a sundress,red lips sort of a girl.She is dressy and loves anything related to shopping and makeup,whereas I am a shorts,skinny jeans and tee sort of a person.Although I ca apply makup,I hate applying it on myself.I like shopping but not the same way Mer loves it.
"When are you coming back ?" I asked.
"Two days from the first day of year twelve ." She replies.Her tone seems rather emotionless when she says this.It is unlike Mer.
"Oh crap ! I was making lasagna and totally forgot about it ! "She says hurridly
Lasagna ? Mer and cooking don't go together at all.Since when has she started cooking ?
"Hope you have some stomach ache medicine cause the people who will have your dish you know..." I tell her playfully.
"What do you mean by that ?I can very well cook and I am better than you will ever be." she responds angrily.Since when did she get so uptight ? I have a bad feeling that se meant something other than cooking when she said 'I am better than you will ever be' but I shove that thought to the back of my mind.
"Hahahaha the silence after I said that hahahaha" She tells laughing.I have a feelingthat the laugh is fake and she was serious.
"Gotta go byeeee girl" she says enthusiastically
"Byeee babe" I rply but notice that she has hung up already.Uh ok.We never hang up on each other.Weird.
What to do now.I start calling up my friends but three of them are at vacations,two of them are at some get together(they happen to be siblings) and one of them is not picking up his god damned phone.Yay life!
Okay...let me take my dog for a stroll at the park.
