A/N  first time doing this. Sorry for any spelling errors and any areas that don't make sense. Hope you enjoy it. 🙂

Hinata is a lost boy, hanging onto life for his younger sister, Natsu. She is 15 and making her way through high school, while her brother, only being 18, is working a deadly job. In the daylight, he is a ball of sunshine that loves volleyball, but as the sun sets, so does he. He morphs into the monsters that lurk in the dark. To survive, Hinata had gotten himself into a dangerous situation. Hacking, stealing, seducing, even killing became a ritual of some sorts.

He had only been six when his mother abandoned him and his sister, leaving them with his alcoholic bitch of a father. Natsu was only three at the time, luckily she doesn't remember much from back then. Hinata dealt with the constant abuse and rapes for years, but whenever his father went even 10 feet towards Natsu, he got up and shielded her. He had learned many things from his father that was now useful. Like how to notice the little things, how to lie through his teeth, cover up wounds and scars, create a false confidence, endure pain, react quickly, last days without sleep, live off water, read others expressions, and so much more, but the most useful lesson Hinata got from his bastard father was how to analyse everything. This helped, not only with volleyball, but also with his night shift.

Hinata is planning on joining a volleyball team because he would often help his sister practise. He had fallen for volleyball when he was a young boy, but was forced to give it up in order to protect the one thing he loved more than volleyball, his sister. After finally being freed, both Hinata and Natsu got back into volleyball. Hinata took entrance exams for Karasuno College, while Natsu attended Karasuno high. Hinata had created a fake high school graduation diploma, in order to be accepted into the college. He was obviously smart after all the studying and inquiring into various topics for occupational reasons, but he didn't want the school to know. After much thinking and revision, Hinata thought it'd be best to attend school like an oblivious ball of energy. He acts like this around Natsu, but when he's alone or out by himself, he is unapproachable. His exterior is almost frightening. If he wanted to have fun and forget the past and any worries he still has, then he would have to pretend they don't exist to begin with. Convince himself before others. Just put on a smile and cover his presence with false confidence.
