THIRD PERSON POV

7:47 pm.

"yah, where have you been?" yohan asked as a smiling hangyul entered the kitchen.

"somewhere... over the rainbow," hangyul's smile widened and yohan couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"seriously, where have you been?"

hangyul took a seat across yohan after he ordered food online, "what is this i sense from the great and arrogant kim yohan? is it concern?"

yohan huffed and stopped time. he stood up and walked towards hangyul and flicked his forehead hard before he sat down and resumed the time. "ow, what the fu- dude! seriously?! hurting me when you stop time? unfair man, unfair." yohan only smirked before he continued eating.

minutes later, hangyul got his food and started to eat. as he was savoring his food, yohan looked back at him, "you haven't answered my question yet."

hangyul hummed in a questioning tone before slurping his carbonara, "oh, that..." he swallowed, "you'd be jealous." hangyul smirked as yohan raised an eyebrow.

"what do you mean?"

"you really want to know?"

"just tell me before i kick you out of here-"

"you can't kick me out. i have the contract, remember?"

yohan sighed in frustration, "shut up and just tell me."

"how can i tell you when i'm supposed to shut up-" yohan shot him a glare, one that's deadly.

hangyul raised his hands in surrender, "okay! i went at yuna's."

the time stopped once again at the mention of yuna's name.

choi yuna.

yohan's mind was full of busy schedules and meetings and meetings and business, but it was mostly her. how she pouts when she's annoyed or angry, the way she walks confidently, her hair and her face, her clothes, her. and thinking about her with hangyul, his best friend, kinda makes him feel... he doesn't want to admit it, but he feels jealous.

the time resumed, both men staring into each other's eyes bearing different emotions. "you went at yuna's?"

"uh... yes..." hangyul couldn't help but feel intimidated at this new side yohan. it was scary.

after hangyul spoke, silence and a little bit of tension filled the area, making both men uncomfortable. "hey-"

"so-" both men said simultaneously.

"you go first," hangyul said and yohan sighed.

"uh, i got this business trip to japan next week and i'm not gonna be here for almost the whole week so, try to keep the house in one piece 'til i get back?"

hangyul chuckled, "sure sure, the foundation to this is pretty sturdy so it wouldn't collapse if something explodes here." yohan rolled his eyes.

"so, you were saying?"

"oh, yeah, uh, i was kinda inviting you to go hang out? have grilled meat and soju?"

yohan smiled, "sure. when?"

"how 'bout tomorrow evening at 7?"

"yeah sure. you choose the place since i trust you with your opinions on food." hangyul snorted before standing up and throwing the empty boxes of his ordered food, then telling yohan that he's off for the night.
