THIRD PERSON POV

7 something pm.

"thanks for everything, yohan," yuna smiled as she looked at him who was also smiling. after watching the movie, they went to have dinner in a fastfood chain, knowing little things about each other over conversation. after the dinner, yohan took her to her apartment and now, they were parting.

"wait," yohan spoke and she looked back as if asking why.

"your things."

she slapped her forehead, "oh, right. i forgot."

just as she was about to open the trunk, she got startled by hangyul's deep voice filling the silent air. "what do you need from me this time?"

"oh, sorry for disturbing. i forgot that it summons you. you can go back now," yuna smiled apologetically.

hangyul smiled, "alri– oh? your boyfriend?" hangyul teased, and before the other two could say something, he disappeared, leaving the two with flushed faces.

"i'll help you with that suitcase."

"no nee—"

"just let me."

yuna blinked, "o-okay..."

she opened the door, knowing that yoonjin was already inside, and let yohan enter the apartment. to say that yoonjin was surprised to see them in good terms would be an understatement, let alone seeing yuna with yohan. "hey guys– oh, wow, that's a large suitcase."

yuna turned to yoonjin and smiled shyly, "well, i'm– we're going somewhere far."

yohan nodded, "yeah."

"mind telling me where exactly you guys are going?"

yohan and yuna looked at each other as if hesitating, but yuna spoke, "don't shout, a'ight?"

yoonjin chuckled, "is it really that grand?"

yohan nodded, "hawaii."

yoonjin had wide eyes and yuna sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose, "here we go..."

"WHAT?!"

yuna shook her head before she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket.

'kim yohan sent a message'

she tapped on the notification and it led to their chat box.

YOHAN's POV

"so the plan's good?" hangyul asked.

"i'm sure he won't reach that country, it's hella far from here," hangyul nodded.

"yeah, i guess so, too. i mean, he would be just too desperate to kill us if he'd follow you. he would lose his swag."

we laughed, and as we were recovering from laughter, a memory flashed in my mind and the smile on my face quickly disappeared.

"wae?"

"seriously? her 'boyfriend'?"

hangyul grinned, "i mean, you want that, right?"

i rolled my eyes, somehow managing to fight the smile that threatened to break out, "since when?"

he shrugged, "since today? didn't you guys have a date—"

"that wasn't a date—"

"eh, it was."

don't talk to stupid people, yohan.

i inhaled sharply before exhaling, "whatever. if that's what you think, then okay. i won't bother bickering with idiots."

"ya!"

THIRD PERSON POV

monday, dawn.

beep-beep! beep-beep! beep-beep!

yuna groaned, snoozing her alarm for the third time before she covered herself with her blanket once again. it was monday and she hate mondays. it's the first day of homeworks, projects, and—

wait, it's monday. oh shit.

yuna jolted out of her bed and took the most quickest shower she's ever done in her life, followed by putting on one of her new clothes that yohan had bought for her, then grabbing her phone and turning it on.

3:38 am.

"shit! yohan's gonna be here soon!" she turned on the lights in her bedroom and her eyes fluttered uncontrollably as they desperately adjust to the sudden change of brightness.

she looked at her new and unopened suitcase, then sighed. "lord, help me."

she literally haven't packed up yet. she was just chilling yesterday, not even botheirng to get up from the bed. now, she's opening all of the drawers of her closet, picking out garments that are good and appropriate for all sorts of events. she also packed skincare products, shoes, slippers, and heels — just in case — and arranged it inside her suitcase. she also prepared a small backpack and slid in her most used things like charger, headphones, passport, and etc. while her phone is in her hand. by the time she stepped out of her bedroom, three knocks were heard from outside. she rushed to the door and opened it, revealing a wet-haired yohan in comfortable clothes. "hi, uh, good morning."

yohan smiled, "good morning. ready to go?"

yuna nodded, dragging her suitcase after she slipped in her slippers, then they were in yohan's car with someone else driving. "i'll miss you guys, especially you, yuna."

yuna raised her eyebrows, "hangyul?"

said man looked at her through the center mirror and smiled, "the one and only."

the ride then became silent, except for the music playing in the stereo. yuna couldn't help but feel sleepy again, and so she slept.

"hey, wake up, we're here," yohan spoke as he shook yuna off his shoulders gently. he ain't denying that he's disappointed in removing her off his shoulder, but he'd rather do or else they'd be late.

yuna fluttered her eyes open and immediately removed herself from yohan with faint pink tints spreading on her cheeks. "guys, hurry up. I don't want to be third-wheeling here."

"shut up, hangyul." yohan glared through the rear-view mirror as he saw his best friend smiling.

yuna got her backpack and opened the door to go out of the vehicle, yohan followes her and opened the trunk to get their suitcases. yohan helped her carry her suitcase and honestly, yuna just became shy and silent. yohan felt awkward at the sudden change in the atmosphere. "so, uh, you ready?"

"yep. everything's here."

yohan nodded and they both said their 'goodbye's and 'see you son's to hangyul before they were left standing in front of the airport doors. "so, uh, you wanna grab caffeine?"

"yeah, i need to get rid of my sleepiness," yuna said before walking beside him.
