Leah's p.o.v
"Ugggghhhhh, go in your place!" I roar at my hair. I take my comb and attempt to slick back the tiny curl that won't sit in place. I run my comb over it and use my hand to run over it also, but it's no use. The little curl falls out of its place yet again.
I sigh and pick up my purse and pull on my black heels. I was proud of my outfit today. I chose a salmon pink color blouse with my black business pants. My hair is done neatly into a bun and the occasional mascara to match. I stop at the local coffee shop down the street before heading to work.
I walk into my work space and am relieved to find no news reviews. That means an easy day. My easy days consist of checking emails for other employees. Their emails are of their newspaper reports. My job is to check over them for misspelling and other things, before faxing it to the printing part of the building.
I sip my coffee as I read through the different papers. It's hot but it's perfect for me. Before I knew it, my day was over. I clock out before taking my way home.
I take the elevator up to my apartment floor. But before I exit the elevator I peak my head outside of the door to avoid Liam. He isn't there so I quickly and quietly walk to my room and press the key to the lock. But before I can even open my door, the devil himself opens the door.
His brunette hair is messy and he is in running clothes. He looks hotter than ever. He smiles at me. "Hey miss Leah." He remarks. I scoff. "Don't call me that." He frowns at my choice of words but smirks again. "You look very beautiful today. What's the occasion?" He asks. I roll my eyes. "None of your business." He keeps the smirk plastered there. "It's a beautiful day out there today huh?" He asks. "Well it was until you opened your door and started talking to me. So next time you want to talk to me, I wont be anywhere near you because you don't stop yourself from talking to me and it's quite annoying." I let out.
I quickly enter my apartment door and slam it behind me. That idiot. He ruined my mood. I grab a glass of champagne before making my way to the couch. I slump down on the couch. My feet hurt from those stupid heels I wore all day.
My phone starts to ring inside my purse. I grab only to see that my mother is calling. I take a long look at it, dictating whether I want to answer it or not, but eventually do.
"Hello." I speak through the cell. "Leah, It's good to hear your voice." My mom states. "Likewise mother. You have the worst timing in phone calls but likewise." I roll my eyes even though she can't see me.
"You always say that it's a bad time to call. You just don't want to talk to me. The devils way of breaking our bond." She explains. I frown.
"Ya well, I love you mom but I have to go." I tell her before ending the phone call without another word to spare.
Jesus this and Jesus that, I'm sure even Christ himself is tired of her saying his name millions of times a day. He probably knows how crazy she is and maybe she'll get sick. A little morbid but you can't blame me. I down a whole bottle of champagne by the end of the night.
I take myself to the shower before bed.
I wake up and roll over with a yawn. I go to open my eyes, but I quickly close them because of the sun. I pick up my cell phone that was sitting on my dresser, looking through my notifications. Nothing interesting.
I place my phone back on my dresser and hurriedly go to the bathroom to take care of morning breath and bed head.
After I'm done doing my morning business, I get ready for work. I choose a red dress with my red heels and place my hair in a bun. I coat my eyelashes with a little bit of mascara.
I nod with satisfaction at my look and decide to head out for the day. I drive my route to work and pull into the parking space. I head to my office and take a seat in my chair opening my computer.
A notification pops up and I smile. It's from the guy I emailed a couple nights ago.

Yes! Tonight at 7:00 is amazing. Address is 1919 hourseshoe drive.

My legs refuse to sit still all day. My anticipation remained high. By the end of the day I find myself in a rush, grabbing my purse and locking up my office. I try not to speed on the road, but it was hard not too. I go home and get dressed in something nice. I chose a white skinny dress and my white strapping heals. I braid my hair back and put on red lipstick and some more mascara to go along with my outfit nicely.
7:00 my doorbell rings, and I open it with a smile on my face. The man in front of me is handsome. He has a blue color in his eyes that remind me of water and jet black hair that's sleeked back nicely and a black tux suit on. He looks to be in his 30's while I am the age of 24. He was very tall.
"Leah?" He asks. "Hi Christopher." I respond. "You look beautiful." He responds. "Thank you, you look great yourself." He grabs my hand and I lock my apartment door. We walk to a red Dodge Ram 2017. He opens my door for me and closes it.
He gets into the truck and starts it. "So tell me a little bit about yourself Leah. What do you do?" He asks. I smile. "I am a newspaper checkpoint. So my job is to fix any mistakes that the newspapers have and then fax them off to be printed." I respond. He smiles. "That sounds like a fun job. What's your hobbies outside of work." He asks. I frown. "I'm, I like to enjoy champagne after work and a warm shower." I respond. He nods.
"Sounds like a interesting and relaxing night." He chuckles. "So what do you do for work?" I ask. He smiles. "I'm a lawyer for people looking to inherit money from a dead family member with no will." He tells me. I smile. "Are you good at it?" I ask. "If I wasn't I wouldn't be doing it." He chuckles.
"So Leah your interested in submissive and dominant relationships?" He asks. I nod. "Well let's discuss things your comfortable with." He asks. I nod. "I am new to the whole thing so I am really okay with anything." I respond. "I am glad to hear. What are your work hours?" He asks. "Monday through Friday at 10:00 to 5:00." I shrug. "Those are good hours. We would have to arrange hours. I do have a couple of rules though. Rule one is be home at a certain time every night and to discuss any new coming things in life." He tells me. I smile. I have finally met someone who respects women and wants the same things I do.
The rest of the date was good. He took me to a Italian restaurant. He was kind and soft and a gentleman. I exit the elevator and Liam is in front of my door waiting for my arrival.
I roll my eyes and continue to walk towards my door. "Hello Leah." He talks. But I pretend I don't hear him. "Did you have fun?" He asks with a smile on his face. "What do you want Liam?" I sigh. "Oh just to know why you look nice? Did you go out with someone?" He asks. "Yes I did." I tell him. "And it's none of your business." I add. He smiles. "How was your night?" He asks. I roll my eyes. "Every good night so far has been ruined by you. Your persistent in talking to me and I don't even like you. You're annoying. I would like to come home and not have to look up at your annoying face and hear your annoying questions." I huff.
"No can do princess, I'm sticking around." He clicks his tongue and winks. I moan in frustration and slam my door in his face and get ready for bed.
