Liams POV

Leah was a strong women, The kind that didn't ask for approval of anyone. I was determined to be her dominant. I was an honest man when I said I got what I wanted. I wasn't the richest but I made money. Enough to spoil her because of my job as a dominant, that's what I was about.
She was good at ignoring me, and it turned me on to see her attitude. She was interesting. I had to figure out a way to gain her attention. Better yet her respect, because right now she could nearly kill me every time she even so much as glances at me.
I thought about gifts, because most girls fall at men's feet when gifts were involved. I had to remember she was different. She wanted respect, control, and honesty. She knew her worth. My last conclusion was champagne, pizza, and a apology.
I doesn't all day cleaning my messy apartment. I picked up my kitchen, my living room, my bathroom, and most importantly my room. My room had all of the bedroom toys hanging around. I vacuumed, made my bed nicely and put my clean laundry away.
I also set up my living room. I put down champagne and I ordered pizza. I turned on my tv but left on the news. I waited what felt like the whole day, with anxiety of what could happen. I have never cared to get a women's attention the way I craved hers. I was angry to know she had been a date, and it was driving me to think crazy but I was doing it.
Nearly 5:30 came around when she finally was pulling into the parking lot. I watched as she entered the building. I pulled myself together, with the beat face I could. When she walked out of the elevator I swung open my door. "Hello Leah." I casually say. She nods. "Liam." Attempting to push her way around me. I stopped her. "I was wondering if I could apologize? I have champagne and pizza. We could watch tv too." I smile. She sighs. "Is this another attempt?" She asks. I shake my head. "No but I definitely don't want you to hate me." I frown. She raises an eyebrow. "Give me 20 minutes for a shower, and clean comfortable clothes and I'll be over. No funny business and 15 minutes and that's it." She tells me. The look on my face is true and I throw my hands up defensively. "No funny business ma'am got it." I smile.
She unlocks her door and goes inside. I poured the glasses of champagne and grabbed the plates. Nearly 6:45 is when she knocks on my door. I open it and smile. "Took you much longer than 15 minutes I was getting pretty tired actually. Thought maybe I should fall asleep on you." I joke. She rolls her eyes. "Don't be dramatic."
I chuckle. I open the door for her and she comes in. She looks around. "Nice place, very clean. Cleaner than mine." She bites her lip. "I'm glad you like it. It's usually dirty and messy." I laugh. She smiles. "It's good to hear I'm not the only one who's too busy to clean." She announces. "Wow that's the first time you've actually smiled. Didn't know you had it in you to smile." I smile. "Wow thanks for another insult." She laughs.
"Here's a glass of champagne." I hand her one of the glasses on the table. She thanks and sips from it ever so gracefully. I tip my glass to my lips and take a drink.
"So I'm sorry for the way I have acted towards you." I apologize. She nods her head. "I accept I'm sorry I insulted you nearly every time I saw your face." She half smiles. "Accepted." We enjoy pizza in silence, watching the shows on television. She looks over at me. "Well I'm going to leave." She announces before standing.
I grab her elbow. "No don't go." I say but it sounds more like a question. She looks down at me confused. She gives me her hand and shakes my own. "Thank you for the kind apology." She talks fast before making a quick exit for the door.
I look at her glass of champagne and grin, I finally got her attention. The one girl that didn't want to give me her tone of day to even look at me. That's a start. I couldn't figure out why she wanted to leave but her even being in my apartment made me nervous.
I had to try harder.
