Naruto: The Heartless Fox

Chapter 4

-Minato's POV-

After the meeting was completed I asked everyone to leave, apart from Danzo. He had to explain to me everything that went on after that night and how Naruto was Anbu Captain Fox.  It didn't make any sense. We nearly killed him and now he is the most loyal member of the Anbu. "Danzo, you have a lot of explaining to do, first of all, I would like you to explain how a Naruto is a member of the Anbu black ops, second I would like you to explain the method of training you used on him, lastly I would also like you to explain how Naruto hasn't betrayed the Leaf. "Minato said. ' No one and I mean no one is that loyal, to say the truth there was a time I was hoping he would betray the Leaf so that I could kill him once and for all, but now I need to know exactly what happened to him' Minato thought to himself.

"Well you see Lord Fourth I had asked some of my Anbu to keep an eye on the boy, it seems the demon had taken a liking to the boy and began training him, that coupled with his training under the Kazekage and the fact that he is a once in a lifetime prodigy and you get a weapon like no other, I believe that answers your first two questions and as for the last one I believe you have heard of Shisui Uchiha correct?" "You mean Shisui, the teleporter, yes, I believe he was stationed under you before he took his own life, am I correct?" "Yes indeed Hokage-sama, but he was also known for his ultimate genjutsu, KOTOAMATSUKAMI, before his untimely death he gave one of his eyes to Itachi Uchiha, who I had put the genjutsu on the Naruto so as to ensure he does not betray the Leaf,that way we cannot lose our greatest military asset."

'I better not tell him the truth otherwise I might be stripped of my power and I can't have that, not when I am so close to my goal,'  Danzo thought to himself. "Okay Danzo, you are excused for now," Minato said. ' This cannot be happening, how, how could this happen, why now and I cant even ask Fox, I mean Naruto to stop the mission because I have a feeling Orochimaru has something planned otherwise he wouldn't be sending so many people after Menma, no matter how you slice it Naruto is the most qualified to protect him, this day can't get any worse  ,'  Minato thought.

"Hokage-sama," Crow, Itachi, said, " we have gotten new information on Orochimaru, it seems that he really was behind the disappearances of dome members of the Uchiha clan, we believe he is after the Sharingan," Crow stated. ' Me and my big mouth/mind whatever!!'

-A week later-

Third-person's POV

Many things had changed for Naruto, the teachers would no longer glare at him, the beating became less often and the greatest change of all was in the classroom. Iruka barely responded to anything and would just sit all day thinking about what Naruto did. No one in the class would make fun of him and they would only stare at the blonde in disbelief. It took a while before Shikamaru finally worked up the courage to ask him about it. "Hey Naruto, it's a drag but can I ask you something?" Shikamaru asked. Everyone in the class were thanking Shikamaru cause they wanted to know too. Strangely the most curious one was Shino even though he was always the calm and collected one.

"Ask me about Shikamaru-sama," Naruto replied coldly. "Naruto you don't have add the -sama suffix but I wanted to ask you about that day with Mizuki-sensei," Shikamaru said, " why he tried to kill you? why he tried to take Menma and most of all how you were able to take down a Chunin even though you are the supposed 'deadlast'?". Before Naruto could answer Iruka walked into the classroom. "Good morning class today we will be assigning the teams so settle down," Iruka said. If you listened closely enough you could some people of the class slowly curding at Iruka before settling in their seats. "Okay Team 1,-" (A/N: lets just skip to the important ones, also Team 7 will stay the same and you will see why later.)," team 7: Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, Team 8 : Kiba, Hinata and Shino, Team 9: Rock lee, Tenten and Neji, Team 10: Shikamaru, Ino and Choji, Team 11: Menma, Mito and Sai. Your sensei's will come for you later," Iruka said and then left.

Twenty minutes later an angry Kushina entered the classroom followed by Kakashi who was being dragged by the ear and Itachi and the other sensei's also entered. " Meet us at the roof in five minutes," Kushina said before shunshining away with the other senseis. "Okay now that your here we would like you to introduce yourselves," Kakashi said. "Why don't you start sensei, we don't know anything about you," Sakura said. "Okay let's see my name is Kakashi Hatake, I like Dango, Anko and my books *Kushina cracks her knuckles and Kakashi cringes* my dislikes are way too many to least and I don't really have a goal," Kakashi says. " My name is Kushina Namikaze-Uzumaki, my likes are my family, ramen and training, my dislikes are mean people and secrets and my goal is to bring my family back together * she looks at Naruto*," Kushina says. "My name is Itachi Uchiha, I like my family, training with my brother and the village, my dislikes are people who try to hurt my likes and my dream is to grow strong enough to defend my loved ones," Itachi said

(A/N: I don't want to write all of it so lets skip to Naruto's turn)

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki and I don't like or hate anything and my dream is to protect the village and to complete my mission," Naruto says. At this all the other children look at Naruto in disbelief while the adults just sigh. Kushina cringes when she hears that Naruto doesn't like anything at all. She began to understand how wrong she was about Naruto. " Okay listen, tomorrow all of you are going to take a test together, don't eat or you will puke," Kakashi said before spoofing into smoke.

"Naruto, can we talk?" Kushina asked. "I am sorry Lady Kushina but I have something important to get too so if I am to be excused," he said before shunshining away. 'Why is everyone trying to get the demons attention, I bet he put them under some kind of genjutsu, Yeah, no way he took down Mizuki sensei, it must have been just a genjutsu?' Menma thought. Naruto then appeared at alley twenty four where fifteen villagers were standing. "There he is," one of them said pointing to Naruto, " Yeah let's get him before he kills another one like he did Mizuki-sama," another one said. Right before they could touch him he felt a burning feeling on his Anbu tattoo and he knew the Hokage was calling him and so he shunshined there.

"Naruto, we need to talk," Minato said gesturing for Naruto to eneter the council room where he found the other members of the council.
