Chapter 6

Naruto's POV

The day of our test finally came. We were to work together with the other rookies to build camaraderie amongst the rookies. "Okay everyone we are going to be doing a test to help build mutual trust and teamwork amongst all of you rookies. This test will be the bell test. I know that Menma and Mito have already done this test before but this team you will have to work as a team with all the other members from the other teams. We might come from different teams but in the end, we are all Leaf Shinobi and Kunoichi. Now begin," Kushina says as everyone vanishes to find a good hiding spot.

"If Menma and Mito have already done this then they might tell the others the secret for the bell-test," Kurenai states. "Yes, they might be able to understand the meaning of the test but let's just see how well the can put that knowledge into good use," Kakashi says. All of a sudden they all disappear.

With the rookies

"Okay everyone the answer to this test is teamwork. Me and Mito would do this all the time with dad," Menma stated. "Easier said than done," Shikamaru said. "And why is that, Shikamaru?" Menma asks. "Troublsome, we don't know a thing about each other's skillset, especially him *Shikamaru says pointing at me* we barely know a thing about you. That will make it harder for us to work together," Shikamaru answers. 

"Yeah and for some reason when he is around, it becomes much harder to control my chakra," Mito says. "Okay, I cannot tell you all of my skills-" I was interrupted. "Why is that?" Shikamaru asks. "Only when Hokage-sama gives me the go ahead. Now all I can tell you is that I know the shadow clone technique and I have a lightning affinity. I also say we target Itachi and Kurenai," I reply. "How come?" Kiba asks.

"There are genjutsu users. If we give them enough time to prepare a genjutsu then we might not be able to escape, right Naruto?" Neji asks. "Very correct Neji-sama, now afterwards we will need Sasuke-san to create a smoke screen using his fire jutsu so that Sai can use his technique to create a few beasts which we can use as a camouflage and to gather information on where they are. Hinata,Shino and Neji will also assist Sai in finding the senseis," I say, "okay and then afterwards the Ino-Shika-Cho trio can use their technique to hold one of our senseis in place. 

Then Neji, Lee,Kiba, Sasuke, Menma and I will go ahead for we are mainly close to mid-range combat fighters while Mito and Tenten fight as support for Tenten is a long-range weapon's specialist and Mito is a mid to long rage Water style user. I have no knowledge of what Sakura can do other than the fact she can do the academy three. Her taijutsu is weak and she has no genjutsu plus her chakra reserves are extremely small although that comes with the benefit of excellent chakra control. So I believe it would be best to keep her at the back but she can also help-" I was interrupted by a screech from Sakura, "Are you hinting that I am useless, dead last." 

"I am not hinting it, I am outright telling you that compared to the others you are useless and have no significant skill. If you were to stop being a fan-girl and train you would probably be useful. Now stop your useless screeching otherwise we will get caught-" I say to her emotionlessly but I am cut off by Mito, "Stop talking badly about her, demon. She is more useful than you will ever be." "Yeah you weakling, how would you know anything, you graduated as dead last of our class while Mito, Sasuke and I were the best.

 You're talking bad about her when you probably have worse ninjutsu and you can't do any good and strong genjutsu. You also do something that riles up mine and Mito's chakra and if all your failures in our spars are anything to go bye then you're even worse at taijutsu. We don't even need your help. Having you here is more of a disadvantage than an advantage. If you think that what you did with Mizuki-sensei makes me think your strong than forget it.
