Naruto's POV

"Yes Hokage-sama," I replied coldly. "Well we would like to ask you for a report on how the mission has been going so far, I asked for this meeting because some of the members of the council are a bit....skeptical," Minato answered the young blonde.

 "Well, so far the mission has been successful other than the attacks that have been sent to Menma, Mito and for some reason Sasuke Uchiha as well, I believe Orochimaru might be coming after the Sharingan the boy possesses, other than that everything has been quiet, almost too quiet, my instincts are telling me something bad is going to happen soon. Hokage-sama if I may ask, why did you place me in a team away from Menma and Mito, and if so, why Sakura Haruno? she comes from a civilian family and as far as I am concerned, no attacks have been sent her way, wouldn't it make more sense for me to be placed in a team with Menma and Sasuke? they have been attacked the most," I asked him.

"Well if you must know Naruto, you are going to be paired up with Sai for this mission and he will be handling Menma and Mito, as for Sakura, it is for balance, I don't want people to think that I am only favouring my family and so she will be placed on your team to show that I am willing to protect other peoples families and not only my own, do you understand?" Minato asked. "Yes Hokage-sama," I replied again.

"Now some of the civilian members of the council are a bit worried. They believe you are plotting against the Leaf and some have even asked for you to be....executed," Minato said albeit hesitantly. "Why is that Hokage-sama?" Shikaku of the Nara clan asked. "Yes, surely he isn't plotting against the Leaf. Why are you worried about him now when you were okay with him protecting all of our children for nearly three years? I hope it isn't because you now know who he truly is?" Hiashi Hyuuga asked.

"It is precisely for that reason, Hiashi," Mebuki Haruno stated," we cannot trust the demon. He might be planning for the very destruction of the Leaf Village. If we don't take action now, we might regret it later." "And why is that? We haven't done anything to him, unless some of us did? I always found it strange that he disappeared a few years ago, exactly one day after the meeting we had to execute him. Isn't it also strange that he lost one of his eyes that very night? I don't think that is a coincidence," Shibi Aburame, of the Aburame clan stated in a monotone voice.

"Yes and if I am correct, Hokage-sama wasn't in his office that night. I also saw some members of Danzo's Anbu later that night who seemed to be carrying something or someone?" Inoichi Yamanaka stated. "What are you three getting at?" asked Mebuki clearly annoyed. "What were getting at is we asked Inoichi to dive into the mind of one of those Anbu last night, what he found disgusted all of us. Minato, how could you do that to your own son? IT ISN'T HIS FAULT THE KYUUBI'S SOUL WAS SEALED IN HIM," Shikaku yelled. "Yes, if I remember correctly, Lord Third sealed it in him yes, but you are the one who proposed this idea," Inoichi said.

"You make him a jinchuriki and then you resent him for something he had no say in, Minato, you are a failure of a father, I have lost all respect I once had for you," Shibi said clearly annoyed. ' Yes, my plan is working perfectly, at this rate I will be come Hokage by the end of the Chunin Exams,' Danzo thought to himself, a maniacal grin plastered on his face.

"And you, *Inoichi says pointing at Danzo* you placed an irreveserbla genjutsu on him so that he never betrays us, you took away his free will, Danzo Shimura, you are even worse than Minato," Shibi continued trying to keep his emotions in check.

"Actually you are all wrong," I said trying to break the tension building up. "What!!!" Minato yelled. " Here allow me to explain-" I said

-FLASHBACK NO JUTSU-

It was one month after Danzo had placed the genjutsu on me. I was on a mission with Crow, better known as Itachi, to retrieve a scroll from a corrupt man known as Gato who had recently taken over the Land of Waves. We entered the village and began to set up camp outside it. We would gather information on the Village for a week. After gathering enough information when we heard commotion in the village.

 "Daddy!!!" we heard a little boy shout when we decided to close in. When we got there we saw a man being whipped by Gato's thugs. "Crow, we should leave now before we break our cover," I quickly stated and then I proceeded to leave. He stopped me and when I looked in his eyes he had tears in them," How could you leave this people like this? Don't you feel any remorse for what is happening to them?" He asked trying his best to conceal his emotions. "No I don't, I can't feel any emotions," I stated coldly," if I think about it, for Gato's thugs to be torturing him, he must be have done something to them. He must know something we don't, we need him, alive," I said before shunshining to the middle of the men and slaughtering all of them.

I then took the man whose name was Kaiza and quickly shunshined to Itachi. "Thank you Mister ninja, I am Tazuna and the man you are holding is Kaiza, Gato has been after him because he has been trying to stop Gato from taking control of our village," Tazuna stated.

"Thank you Tazuna-sama, I am crow and my partner here is Fox, we are Anbu from the Hidden Leaf Vilage and we were sent here to retrieve a scroll from Gato for we believe the scroll he has stolen is from the Land od Fire, we believe he is using this scroll to spread his influence and to amass wealth from other Villages, we will take Kaiza here to our camp to give him medical treatment and to also ask him some questions about Gato, if that is okay with you?" Itachi asked.

"Of course but are you sure that Fox guy should be in the Anbu, he seems a bit young and I was told the Anbu normally have to go on assassination missions," Tazuna asks.

"I am more than capable to handle myself, Tazuna-sama," I replied coldly. "Well okay and thank you for saving Kaiza, he is a hero you here in the Land of Waves," Tazuna replies.

After a few days Kaiza woke up. "Inari!!!" Kaiza screamed as he got up from bed. "Be careful, you were attacked by Gato and his thugs so you need to rest up to heal. My partner and I are Anbu and we need information on Gato," Crow says. 

"Okay, He is a short man who wears a business suit, he is very rich and uses his riches to spread his influence, he also has come kind scroll which he keeps in a suitcase, he also said he will be leaving the Land of Waves for the Land of Lightning to sell said scroll in two days, that is all I know about him. Please Ninja, tell me is my family okay?" He asks.

"Yes, we intercepted every attack that was sent to them. Thank you for your information. You are free to return to your Family," Crow tells him. "Thank you, for everything," Kaiza says and bows before leaving.

"Fox-sama, we have all the information we need, let us go," Crow says. I nod.

We intercept Gato and his men and slaughter all of them. We then retrieve the scroll. Right before Itachi slays Gato I stop him," Gato isn't our target crow, if we kill him then the void of power left after that will cause even more conflict, we have to wait before we can get rid of him," I say to him. He nods. On our way back we stop by a Inn.

"Fox-sama, you said you were unable to feel any emotions, why is that?" He asks, "Does it have anything to do with Lord Danzo?" He asks and I nod. Afterwards he uses the eyes Sisui gave him to free me from Danzo's control.

-FLASHBACK NO JUTSU END-

"So you see if I were to betray the Leaf, I would have done it a long time ago," I tell after finishing my story. "But if that were the case then why are you so cold and emotionless?" Shikaku asks.

"It is less painful for me that way. I have  no need for emotions," I replied. "Now if I am to be excused," I said before shunshining to the graveyard. "Hello Itachi-sama. I see you are visiting Shisui-nii," I say with a smile on my face. "Yes I am, would you like to pay your respects with me," Itachi asked. 

"Yes I would," I say and begin praying.

Once we are done he told me to go to sleep since we are going to have a test.
