Grace POV:

I arrive home and sneak into the house. Sadly my father is awake. He notices me and calls me over. Obediently I walk over towards him. 'You worthless piece of shit! Why are you still here,' he yells at me?

I grab my backpack and put some spare clothes, my laptop, all the money I have saved and a few other things into it. I grab my skateboard and climb out my bedroom window. I start riding away from the house. I'm never going back there.

As I skate I start to feel dizzy. I see a boy run towards me as I fall and black out...
