Grace POV:

'I'll explain,' Cameron says, 'you were riding your skateboard then you collapsed. I picked you up and carried you to my car. Then I drove you here where you were taken into surgery. When they removed your top the doctors saw some drawing on your back. Would you care to explain how you got them?' I shake my head and start crying.

'Was it your father,' Matthew asks? I nod my head, sobbing harder. He walks over and sits on the bed next to me. He wraps his arms around me giving me a hug. I cry into his chest. 'Dont worry we'll protect you,' he whispers to me. 'What if you can't? What if I'm too far broken,' I ask? 'Then we'll fix you.'

Matt stops hugging me. 'Can we see your back,' he asks? I slowly nod and pull up my shirt. The boys gasp from behind me. 'Oh. My. God,' they mutter. 'What kind of a freak does that,' Cameron yells. 'Your so skinny,' Carter says. I pull my top back down and just sit there silently.

A nurse walks in. 'Sorry but visiting hours are over,' she says, 'unless your family.' 'Can they please stay,' I beg. 'Im sorry but..,' I cut her off. 'I need them here with me,' I say firmly, 'they're basically family.' She sighs before agreeing to me.

Nash POV:

'I need them here with me,' Grace says firmly, 'they're basically family.' The nurse sighs but agrees. She leaves the room. 'Not to be rude or anything but why did you say we were basically family,' Carter asks, 'we hardly know each other?' 'Well I've written letters to each of you since my sister died so you pretty much know all my secrets,' she answers.
