#65 Why you break up

Raphael

"Stop that! You always pretend like you know everything better? Is it because you are like the elite of the downworlders? Is it that? Do you think vampires are not smart enough? Then you know what... Well, you apparenty know everything anyway... Just go." Raphael was raging. You corrected one of his mistakes. He used to be a good leader, but know he let his responsibilities slide. His followers began to break the contract, turned mundanes and killed. The moment you pointed that out, he felt offended. He always did. And it made you sad and it was like a sting in the heart. "If that's what you want... I'll go. I hope you find someone who isn't as honest as me." And with that you packed your stuff and moved out of the Hotel Dumort.

Alec

You and Alec broke up because of the hate you were getting from everyone, especially Alec's parents. You didn't want to have to deal with the constant whispers and glares from everyone who didn't approve. Alec begged you to stay, begged you to realise that they didn't matter. "Your family is one of the most important things to you, Alec," You had said on your way out of the Institute, "If they don't approve of me, how can you have a good relationship with them?"

Jace

"Oh, and because I'm in Idris for two weeks you think it gives your the permission to go the pandemonium and flirt with other people?" You threw a dagger at him, he stopped it with his hands. "Who told you?" He was upset too. You sighed. "That was not the answer I wanted to hear! What about sorry? Or an actual reason? It doesn't matter who told me, but I trust that person. They wouldn't lie!" He chuckled. "You think it's funny? Seriously? You know what... Fuck off. I'll go back to London and you go back to flirting. You're a free man now. Congratulations." With that you turned around and went away, packing your stuff for London.

Meliorn

Meliorn stood in front of the entrance of the Seelie realm. He never did that and you knew that something like that didn't mean anything good. "Y/N, we need to talk." Tears were already running down his cheeks and you know what that meant. You wrapped his arms around his body. "The seelie queen doesn't approve of our connection anymore, does she?" Your voice was weak. His quiet sobs were the answer. "I'm so sorry, Y/N. You're the love of my life. You are everything. My sun, my moon and my stars. But I couldn't live with the fact that you are in danger. I promise, one day we'll meet again. But now, this is our goodbye."

Isabelle

"Y/N, where is my whip?" She hussled into the Jade Wolf. "Hey Iz, what do you mean? You probably left it at the institute." You wanted to come closer but if you learned one thing: Never come near Isabelle Lightwood when she is angry. So you kept the distance. "Don't act like you don't know. Last time I had it, we were together. Probably one of your wolf friends stole it." You didn't believe what she just said. "Excuse me? Do you accuse my pack, my family, for stealing your irrelevant whip." It was just now that she realized about the damage that she did. "You better go. We're done. Never talk against my family. We are good people. Sorry that we don't have the nephilim privilege."

Maia

It has always been tricky to make people understand, that a werewolf and a vampire can date. It may be a little unique, but it's possible. At least that's what you thought. It was a normal night that you went to the Jade Wolf, visiting Maia. Usually you sat down in a silent corner, ate and had fun. But now she stood right outside the door. "Y/N, we need to talk." She had tears in her eyes. You walked over to her and wanted to place a kiss on her cheek but she flinched back. "I can't do this anymore." You couldn't believe what she just said. "You can't do what?!" Now your eyes filled with tears too. "We are too different. How did we think this could work out?"

Magnus

"Magnus, I want to be honest with you." You sat down next to him onto the sofa. He rose his glance from his book and smiled at you. "What's wrong, my little glitter? Are you okay?" His voice made your heart pound even faster. "I can't do this anymore. I'll get my stuff tomorrow." The book dropped onto the floor and tears streamed over Magnus' cheeks. With that you stood up and left. The reason? You couldn't live with the fact that Magnus would stay forever young and that one day he would need to bury you.

Will

You broke up with Will after you went running after a demon in Brooklyn, for the fifth time. He was angry that you would be so reckless and threatened to tell the Seelie Queen to close you in the Seelie Realm. You threatened to break up with him if he did, and he followed through with his threat, so you did the same with yours.

Jem

Jem broke up with you because you were spending too much time with Will instead of with him. You had blown him off to hang with your brother too many times, and he was sick of it. "I thought you loved me," he said, tears threatening to spill, "but you never have time for me anymore!" Jem never cried, so you realised just how much you had hurt him, guilt lacing your stomach as he turned and walked away.

Jordan

Jordan broke up with you when he saw you "flirting" with Simon on a "date". In actual fact, you went to see a movie with him and got food after, because Jordan was busy. He screamed at you: "Do you think I don't see the way you look at him?!" You screamed back: "Do you even hear yourself?! How dare you accuse me of something like that! I AM HIS FRIEND!!"You went to Simon's, which was the only place you had to stay. This made Jordan even more furious

Tessa

You broke up with Tessa, because you couldn't help feeling like you were holding her back. She spent most of her time with you, never seemed to have any aspect of her life that didn't involve you. That's why you packed a bag and left, leaving a note to explain, as you couldn't bring yourself to tell her in person. 'You deserve to have a life that doesn't involve me,' the note said, 'I can't hold you back from all of the things you wanted to do anymore. You deserve to have plans separate to mine, so I'm keeping mine separate. I'm so sorry, Tess. But this will be better for you in the long run. I love you for infinity x'
