JO WOKE UP to the feeling of bile rising up her throat. Her stomach lurched in discontent as she pushed herself out of her bed and stumbled to the bathroom. She fell to floor in front of the toilet and let the few items in her stomach out, undoubtedly the result of the copious amount of alcohol she'd consumed the night before.

Once she was finished, Jo rested her forehead on the rim of the toilet, sighing in relief as the cold porcelain chair cooled her burning head. She noticed how her body was sticky with sweat and her head felt like it weighed a million pounds. As she thought about the night before, she couldn't remember much; only bits and pieces of a hazy night. She hadn't gotten that drunk in a long time.

"Dude, you look like shit," John B chuckled as he appeared in the doorway.

His voice wasn't that loud, but it still made her head throb even harder. Jo just groaned in response as she slowly pulled herself to her feet. She made sure to flip her brother off as she sulked back to her bedroom, where JJ was still sound asleep. He stirred slightly as she flopped back into bed and pried his eyes open.

"Where were you?" He asked sleepily, his voice deep from having just woken up.

"The bathroom," Jo murmured as she snuggled against the blonde boy.

"You throw up?" JJ asked, the concern instantly evident in his voice.

Jo sighed and nodded into his chest. She kicked the blankets off of her, not liking the clammy feeling they were giving her skin.

"Aw, baby," he cooed, brushing her sweaty hair away from her face. "I'll be right back."

Jo whimpered as he slid out of the bed and pried his body out of her grip. JJ chuckled at the girl; she was always clingy when she didn't feel good.

"Don't leave," she whined, rolling over and burying her face in her pillow.

"I'll be right back, I promise," JJ laughed.

He couldn't stop smiling as he made his way into the kitchen. Jo was just too adorable. She had him wrapped around her finger and she didn't even know it. He shook his head to himself as he opened the fridge and pulled out a Gatorade, then grabbed a piece of bread and buttered it. He swiped a pop-tart for himself and as he turned around to head back to Jo's room he found John B smirking at him.

"That's adorable," he teased. "You gonna be her nurse?"

JJ rolled his eyes, trying to play down just how much he loved the girl. "Well you aren't gonna do it, are you?"

John B chuckled and pushed off from the wall he was leant against. "Nope. You can have her."

"Thanks," JJ drawled.

He patted John B on the shoulder as he retreated down the hallway and sat on the edge of the bed. He set the items he had brought with him on her nightstand and paused for a moment, just taking in how beautiful Jo looked even despite not feeling the best. She was sprawled across the bed on her stomach with her hair covering half her face and her arms hugging her pillow. He smiled as he tucked her hair behind her ear and shook her awake.

"What?" Jo mumbled, trying to pull the covers over her head.

"Wake up," JJ chuckled. "I come bearing bread and Gatorade."

Jo sighed and slowly sat up, squinting at JJ sleepily. He smirked at her and handed over the Gatorade, watching as she took a ginger sip.

"How embarrassing was I last night?" Jo asked reluctantly. She peered up at JJ with a faint smile and he handed her the piece of bread.

"Oh, not too bad," he hummed. "You just stripped out of your clothes and ran around the beach buck ass naked."

Jo nearly choked as she took a bite of the bread JJ had given her. She felt her face pale even more as she gaped at him. A moment later he started laughing.

"I'm just kidding," he said. "You should've seen your face!"

"Asshole," Jo grumbled. She smacked his chest as she laid down and turned her back to JJ.

"You were fine," JJ told her as he cuddled up beside her. "You didn't do anything stupid, just blacked out."

"That's good," Jo hummed, but swatted JJ's arms away.

"Babeee, come on," he pouted. "Let me cuddle you."

"I'm mad at you," Jo huffed.

She wasn't really, but she loved to tease JJ. Besides, she knew she wouldn't be able to stay pretend mad for long.

"You're full of shit," JJ whispered.

His breath tickled her ear and caused Jo to smile. She huffed as she rolled over and finally allowed JJ to wrap his arms around her, pulling the brunette as close to him as he could like he always did when they cuddled. Jo just giggled as she rested her cheek on JJ's bare chest, listening to the sound of his strong heartbeat.

"Do you feel any better?" JJ asked several minutes of silence later.

Jo smiled up at him and nodded. "Mhm. Thanks for taking care of me. I owe you one."

JJ just smiled back at her and ran his hand through her hair. "Can't wait for you to return the favor."
