CASE #003

Mamura-senpai drove Seijuurou-senpai and I to the Supernatural Division a few km away from Rakuzan (don't ask me about his driving lesson). About my father, they refused to tell more. They just left me hanging there but I decided to brush it off and followed them to their HQ.

The HQ was just like a normal police station except that it has somewhat like a barrier around the building. I followed them in and they led me to a room on the 7th floor, which is the highest level of the building. The room was brightly painted and I was asked to sit on the couch while waiting for the Chief to help with the case.

I was left alone. The woman appeared again. I glanced at her. "What do you want us to do actually?" I asked.

"To capture the culprit. He's going freely right now."

"Why don't you go search for yourself and tell us?"

"I'm not capable of doing so. You should know, miss. When we die, we, as souls are brought to the Dead Department ruled by the King of the Underworld. Much like the Greek God but he isn't. It's called Greek mythologies to begin with. So it's not true. The king doesn't allow a ghost, that's what humans called us, to wander so far. It's a rule for all of us, to just stick to one person. Some were punished. Some were trauma. If let's say there are those who has the same case as me, where the culprit of their murders is still free, the King will let us stick to one of the Supernatural Division Officers to solve our case. But that is if the officer will accept. Some failed to convince them and they will go back to the Underworld to grief and regret what they've done in their life."

"This world is much complicated than I think." I sighed.

"But you taking Akashi-sama's ability is a really unique topic. The Underworld has been flooded with this news."

    "From you?"

"No. The chants for accepting cases are different from what Akashi-sama had chanted before. The moment it's chanted, the whole Underworld and those under the Supernatural Division will be able to listen to it. But using Estressia is indicating that the case is not fully under his power alone. That indicates someone else is. We were much devastated about that. But I don't know what's happening in the Underworld right now. There must be gossips when I come back."

    "I see. Thank you Kuwaki-san."

She smiled slightly. "You're welcome, Heiwayuki-sama."

At that moment, she disappeared and the door opened. A man in his late twenties stepped in after Mamura-senpai and Seijuurou-senpai. "This is Heiwayuki Akashi?" the man asked. He's probably the Chief.

    "Yes, Chief." Mamura-senpai replied. Suddenly,

"Restressia Yuevrè Seuteria Caershë. I, Takeshi Yuuki, Senior Officer of Japan Police Supernatural Special Division will take full care of this new case and will be responsible of everything that will happen until this case is closed under the order of my commander, Akashi Seijuurou, or under direct order from the Chief. Case accepted." A voice echoed. I see... so this is how the vow must've echoed throughout here and the Underworld when Seijuurou-senpai chanted. So everyone knows we're handling a case right now. That's cool.

"Heiwayuki-san," the Chief spoke. I turned to him.

    "Yes!" I replied.

"We'll start to solve the case. Now." He said politely.

"Sure." I nodded and followed him to his desk. He withdrew a file and started to write something on a form. Seijuurou-senpai and Mamura-senpai were sitting on the couch quite far from the Chief and me. It was awkward watching him write. I glanced around the room.
