"Please don't hit me! Im sorry!" I cried. I tried backing up as far as I could into the bed. "I told you not to go out! And or even try to! And look what you did" he said. "Michael please! Stop! I'm sorry I won't do it again" I said with tears streaming down my cheek. He slapped me anyways and pointed a finger at my arm and pressed down. Hard. "You better not" he said getting close to my face, to where I could smell his minty breath. I nodded, my face scrunched up from the pain.

The door bell rang. Relieved as I was that he stepped out of the room to see who it was. I ran my hand up hand down where he pressed on my arm. I sighed. The door soon shut. I scurried to the bathroom, next to the bedroom. He watched me close the door. looking up at my face, I saw it had a hand print on it. Rubbing my hand on it, I felt it sting a little. I need to get away, I thought, while washing my face.

But when

How

Where would I go if I did escape?

I turned the water off and dried my face.

"I'm going out tonight, do NOT even try to step out the house. Got it?" Michael said eyeing me. "Got it" I replied, quietly. He pushed past me, making me hit the wall, gladly it didn't hurt. Before heading out the door, he looked at me and shook his head, then left. What was he thinking?

I watched his car drive off. Happy...I was so happy that he left. When he leaves to go hang out with the boys, he doesn't come back till the next morning.

I got all night!

I ran upstairs. "1, 2, 3!". I pulled down a suitcase from the top shelf and said it on the bed.

Why hadn't I tried escaping when he was out and about before?

I packed everything I had, which wasn't much. Some shirts, some pants, undergarments, bathroom stuff. This could possibly last me around three or so months, which wasn't that long. Opening the window in the back of our bedroom, I smelled the sweet scent of nature. But it was dead silent, except for the wind. I looked down, seeing only grass. "Hope this doesn't break my suit case" I said to myself. "1...2...3!" I dropped  my suit case below me. Grabbing my purse which had almost anything I needed, like, my phone, phone charger, pepper spray, and my pack of cigarettes, some other things to, I carefully made my way down the little latter on the brick wall of the house. Grabbing my suit case, I turned around towards the house after stepping back a little, I flipped it off. I hated this house. Always have.

I'm never coming back.
