I walked down the hallway. Thank god Kat wasn't on that creepy floor, She was on my floor. Before knocking I took out my little mirror and checked to see if I still looked like a nervous reck. And I did...

"Girl you aight? You look horrible" she said after opening the door.

Ppffttt yea I know thanks for reminding me

"Yeah, and there is a lot to share for why I look like this" I replied. Katlyn raised her eyebrows. "Is that so?". I put my hand in my back pocket, and nodded. She quickly invited me inside. I sat there for awhile. I wasn't sure how to explain anything...

"Cat got your tongue?" She asked after a moment. Clearing my throat, I looked up from my fidgeting hands. "No, I just don't know how to explain what happened an hour ago". She moved her head to the side. "And what had happened an hour ago?". I got up from the comforter and went to the middle of the room. "So...you know room 257?" I asked. I was expecting her too, a little bit. Just because she's worked here for awhile, well I'd say she has. Katlyn leaned back in her comforter and sighed. "Yea...sadly I do". I wanted to jump for joy. But I didn't. Well I couldn't, didn't feel like a very 'joyful' time to do that. I was hoping she would though. "Have you seen it to?". She looked up at me. "See how dusty that room is? Hell yeah. I can't even go in there without having a coughing attack"she replied. I sighed. "No. I mean- never mind". Kat cleared her throat. "Welp, ok, I've got to get to bed...see you tomorrow morning".

No one gives a shit. Of course I can't even explain anything without anyone giving me a weird look

I shook my head and left without saying goodbye.

I walked slowly down the hall way. I was still processing everything.
It soon got cold. Really really cold. Whispers in my ear
